"Played Time" filter on Profiler?

Alright, random suggestion here but I was bored and wanted it =P
Could we possibly get some kind of filter that filters the ascending/descending player times? For example, if I wanted to see the player with the biggest Play Time on the
Crushridge
realm, I just pop in the filter and it shows it all =)
I know it probably makes no sense, but it would be a nice feature for people like me who are bored and have no life when it comes to playing (but not necessarily in a hardcore way) WoW.

Right now I don't believe we gather this data, although I think it's possible to gather. I'm not 100% sure all players would WANT this data published where everyone could see it, though. :P

I think the wowhead client gathers played time.
Atleast when i check my own characters on your profiler i can see the played time.
Those that don't use wowhead client, does not seem to have any played info.
I've found another player that uses the wowhead client, and there too you can see the played time.
So it should definitly be possible.
(Although there is probably more important things to fix, and implement first :P )

Confirm.
As for your point, Mal, I know friends who won't tell me their played time no matter how much I ask. That might actually be something you want to consider whether or not you should show on here at all.

We have considered at least adding a toggle for users to enable or disable display of played time in their character profiles. Personally, I don't want my played time displayed but all I can do at this moment is document a projected change and yell at developers (which I already did some time ago). We'll see.

That would be fair. I'd think something like that could be rolled up into the other things people have asked to toggle.

Yeah, it will - the problem is that since it does get rolled up into other things that people ask to toggle, that makes it a larger project than the simple, single projected change seems to be and thus it gets prioritized and handled as a large project, which is susceptible to being shoved aside for fixes and other features deemed more important. This often happens with features that users request as a seemingly "easy fix" as it is necessary for us to streamline our small team's productivity and we're always eager to get the real good stuff out to you guys first!

Heh. Like I said a few weeks ago: you guys need separate enhancement and maintenance teams.
