An interesting twist - Jaina descends into madness after Shadowmourne wielder delivers that necklace (or locket, don't remember), steals Arthas's body and resurrects him.
And that's where civil war between Bolvar and Arthas begins and that WILL be interesting.

Jaina is an independant person who acts with her own ideals and belief in how things should go. She felt this exact same way with her father who she believed was completely wrong.
So if she can stand against her own father and his narrow minded bigotry, then why would anyone believe she would reduce herself to being married to a man who sees all orcs as scum. Even from a standpoint of trying to help create peace, That isn't a way for someone like Jaina, who IS a stronger character then Varain, to follow.
Being married to Varian would weaken her resolve, Varian would likely undermine all Jaina worked towards, and she would get nothing from it.
I just hope some hack writers don't do a malygos and screw up her strength of character.

So being wench to varian is meant to give her some strength of character then? and her friendship to Thrall just desolved in faced with his orc hatred?
Sure, if you believe warcraft is all sunshine and farts.

No. Just no.

It's possible, but I don't belive we'll be seeing any sort of romantic interest plot between the two of them.

Or her strength in character and freindship to Thrall despite her husband's hatred of them may cause him - in a very, very unlikely scenario - to slowly begin to think things over.

big
'if'), her strength of character
which she already has
may help to moderate Varian's views, with him perhaps looking at things more objectively. Jaina has had great influence on Varian already, look at the comics; as well as the fact that it's always Jaina and Varian in WoW scenarios.

Somehow, I feel that Varian would refuse Jaina's advances.
Hence the bolded big 'if'. ;)

Yes, because that's all Tiffin was to Varian originally, just a women so he could get a heir with, never mind when she died it plunged him into a despair for quite a few years, which the Nobles and Onyxia used to gain power in Stormwind. If they do end up together(again, more likely then Thrall and Jaina due to things I've already said here), and it's not a marriage of convenience/alliance, I could see him being just as accepting of what she tells him as he was of Tiffin and what she meant to the king of Stormwind.

Tiffin Wrynn, wife of Varian and Mother of Anduin
.... and I just noticed something, which is probably due to the comic artists... but Jaina and she share some similarities....

Wow. It took you that long? I think the similarities are deliberate, like Jaina and Taretha.
Jaina just tends to look like somebody close to the faction leaders who died. Think of her as the 'filling' in the Thrainarian sandwich.
/nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Yeah yeah yeah, of course, that could just be writer generalization; still, probably explains why Varian doesn't just tell Jaina to shut the hell up at those times people see him as mean/ignoring her; helps that she looks like someone he lost.

What a love triangle...
Puts a good ol' soap opera to shame.

Never said it was a correct theory, just saying, knowing Blizzard's writers like we do, that might explain some of his behaviour towards her, as the fact that she looks like Taretha explained some of Thrall's when the two first met.

It would be awkward though. Jaina isn't just a brilliant and quite beautiful blonde woman, she also happens to look like the only two women that touched the hearts of the two most influencial leaders of the Alliance and Horde.
The gods are toying with us.
Heh, aye they are.
