He was such a good person.
Yeah he was! He was an actor, and he also did some acting, and stuff. He got charged with assault and got divorced. He also acted.... in stuff.
Such
a good person. The world will scarcely carry on in his abscense.

Thanks to the advent of the internet, this will have no impact on people making fun of him like it would have in the past.
Thanks internet! Keep on dishonoring the dead!

He can't care about it, why should we?

"Former child star Gary Coleman has died of a brain hemorrhage. The actor was 42.
Coleman slipped into a coma and was put on life support at a Utah hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage Wednesday, said the actor's rep."
For those interested.
I didn't know he was in Utah...

The same reason it's bad form to publicly mock brain dead people.
Sure, lots of people do it, but it's crass as all hell. Sometimes I just wish human beings could have a little bit more honor, but I understand that on the internet, it's freaking rare.

The point all of you are missing is that MyTie wasn't mocking the dead so much as he was mocking Elaus for describing him as a "good man." MyTie's point was he really DID nothing. He did his job and that was it. The only difference was that his job made him famous and a lot of people knew him. It's not like he saved a South American village from a mudslide or anything.
Now, don't misunderstand me. I'm sad that someone died, but that's it. I'm sad for his family's loss and his friend's loss. But I never knew him or met him and he wasn't life-changing or world-shaking, so I shall not weep tears.

My comment wasn't directed at MyTie so much as a preemptive strike on jokers that will be seen around the net for a while.
Probably the saddest thing is how young he was.

For the record, I hadn't read MyTie's post until after I posted myself. My point being that the only thing Gary Coleman meant to people for years was something to make fun of.
