So, I just got my Motorola Droid the other day and I'm looking for some really cool apps. I already have Droid Armory, Talented, Mobsters (already linked to my Playdom account), some tower defense apps, and a few others.
So, anyone have any more suggestions or favorites? Oh, and for now just share free apps or ones with free trials/demos versions. After paying for the phone I can't afford to pay for any apps.

I don't know whether you can find iPod or iPhone apps on the Droid, but a free game that I really love is called
Pew Pew

I have the Motorola Droid as well and would highly recommend exploring droidforums.net. So far just lurking in their forums have yielded all the answers I've been needed. Especially pay attention to the Droid Applications and Droid Games sections which would be what you are looking for specifically.
As for games I could recommend off hand would be any of the emulators (of which I think only N64 and PS1 aren't finished.) This
thread
would be good for someone starting out but could cause app overload. Some ppl have put very good descriptions of what the apps do and some ppl have just posted everything they have with no info. Also I would suggest checking out Androlib.com or Appbrain.com if you would rather check out the market apps on a computer than on the phone. Much easier to check out apps to see whether they are free/paid, check user comments, and what the app even does.
I've been doing a bit of research on this my phone before and after I bought it so if ya need any more help just let me know. I'll make sure to check back in often over today and tomorrow (gonna be gone this weekend.) Hope all this helps ya.
