Given that the only difference in heirloom items between the specs are the weapons, did you want to condense it down a bit? List the general gear once, then allocate only the weapons accordingly for each spec separately?

As for assassination and using the mace in your main hand(or in any hand while in assassination) you wouldn't be able to use mutilate.
You shouldn't level with assassination until you have enough points to get mutilate. I'd suggest combat until then, SS hits harder and relies less on stealth than the other specs.
Mace at the beginning because you can't use mutilate thus you would be using SS. If you read the whole post, he says to switch to daggers for Mutilate at level 50.

Fun Factor > Any "Faster" Leveling Spec. If you're having fun, it is faster.

Ok, here is my guide.
Fun Factor > Any "Faster" Leveling Spec. If you're having fun, it is faster.
1. Create a Rogue
2. Pop some Mephedrone and drink some Red Bull.
3. ?
4. Profit!

Fleet-footed only effects you when you're outside of stealth. It doesn't stack with the 30% movement speed IN stealth.
Wrong. They are different effects. Camo is a stealth speed penalty reduction. FF is a speed increase.

I don't believe that at this point, he's made any comments about what you
should
be levelling with. The whole point was to highlight optimal builds no matter what talent tree you want to level as, hence the Subtlety tree featuring at all.

typo when you said "smother" instead of smoother in point 2 of the professions section. Liking the guide, however a couple things I saw kind of bugged me in the spec department. Relentless strikes is definitely worth taking over master of deception imo. That's the only talent that helps your energy early on (or at all at lower levels) and more energy = more damage.
You might want to mention thistle tea in a section of the guide as well, and include a pro con section of each spec such as how combat can excel at taking out simultaneous multiple targets, sub can burst mobs to death in two to three shots, and assassination is great for dealing with high armor mobs (among other things).
Also, reported for sticky ^.^

There are a few things like that I want to work into the guide but it will probably not be until after i finish the major things that Ive already laid out
Got to thinking about thistle tea and thought you might want to cover the global cooldown of a rogue vs. other classes (1 sec vs. 1.5) and the abilities that aren't on the global, and how to take advantage of that. Example: sinister strike to empty and as the last goes off use your twitchy ninja skills to hit thistle tea and evis into more ss spam, etc.
Edit: Also may want to have a paragraph about personal choice and that this is only a
guide
and you should use your brain to make intelligent decisions. However, unique snowflakes need not apply.

I think goshadstep2lose is a pretty cool guy. eh creates guieds and doesn't afraid of anything.
Mastur Cheef ftw? :D
I think i'm going to feed a troll here, but i don't know why someone would do all this effort just to troll. Well, here goes nothing.
Anyways, firstly... "
79
" Why there's no
Master of Deception
? Why spec subtlety without that talent... Or
Cheat Death
? Ooor, i don't know, Heightened Senses? If i'd spec subtlety while leveling, i would be running BG's all the time, and these three talents are very useful.
Then, lets see your
Combat spec
... Noone really uses Riposte. Waste of talent points. And you definetly want to pick up Imp. Slice and Dice for combat spec. Unfair advantage doesn't seem so smart either, since most of leveling nowdays happens by running LFD, and you ain't getting any hit as a DPS --> you won't be dodging any attacks either.
Then to see your
Assassination build
..... I don't know where to start.... Well, when you hit lvl 52 and get envenom, you won't be using eviscerate, so no need to spec imp. eviscerate, and the glyph of eviscerate is useless too, pick up glyph of vigor for example. Envenom ignores armor, and when specced Cut to the Chase, you'll be using the first combo points to slice and dice, and then just spam mutilate & envenom. And since you've picked up mutilate, why not spec puncturing wounds? And you don't want to pick up improved kidney shot, it's pretty much useless... I could go on and on but i just don't think it would be worth the effort.
This guide seems to be pretty much "how to fail as a rogue", i mean come on... Assassination spec seems like a fail PvP spec, and Subtlety spec lacks most of the nice PvP talents... :S
Yes, i see that you've put some effort to this, but.... Just....., no. Doesn't work.
And just btw... Engineering is very very easy to lvl up, if you know how to use such databases as, umm, Wowhead maybe? :D
