So, I just got my Shaman to 69 and was joined a random dungeon queue, we got UK. Right, I'm usually really good at keeping tanks alive and not letting people die but I was all over the place here, Then the tank asked if I was healing in DPS Gear, I was like "No" and he responded ""2k LHW heal in healing gear is fail for a 69, You should be atleast healing 5k" and I tried to defend myself by saying 2k heal was ok for my level and he was just taking a lot of damage, so we wipe, again and he starts swearing at me, making me feel $%^&. So now I usually just queue as DPS in my Enhanc spec, I just wanna know what a Shaman in NR Blue and Greens should heal with a LHW?
...I know Resto Shamans who are fresh 80s that barely hit 5K LHWs. What the hell is this guy smoking? For you to even be able to cast
that spell at that level
, you'd have to somehow have somewhere around 2K SP to get that close.
If you had to be "all over the place" to keep up with the heals, the tank wasn't managing his CDs and obvoiusly forgets how important CC used to be back in the day. UK is especially one of those ones in low levels that can be tricky if you're not isolating mobs at that low of a level (it was one of my first during instances at launch too, required a lot of CC).
TL/DR: The tank is an idiot.

the problem at that lvl is that many ppl is still in outland gear that comes a bit behind in the transfer to northrend until ppl have geared a bit, and things I have noticed on my last alts at the start of North is that many tanks dont know what they are doing

Agreed.
My shaman is my second healer/caster that I've leveled and getting 2k LHWs at level 69 is more than adequate. The problem I have found in the transition from BC dungeons to Northrend dungeons is that the tanks think most of the dungeons are Hellfire Ramparts part 2 and they are wholly unprepared for the encounters. Most of them are still in their quest greens and blues with no where near enough defense and they blame the healer for their own short comings.
Tanking is more than just mashing one button and unfortunately so too is healing, yet i've seen it time and time again; tanks act like they are entitled to do whatever they want irregardless of the well being of the group as a whole. They assume that since they could tank all of BC dungeons with ease that it should be the same in Northrend. Auto-attack does not a good tank make.
It is not all bad however, I have encountered some truly great tanks on my leveling journey. There are tanks with a great grasp of the importance of group cohesion and the need to pay attention and be aware of everything around them. Far too often as a healer I am having to carry the load of the entire group because the tank can't taunt to save his life and so my poor clothies are getting smashed to bits trying to escape. Then there are those tanks who have mobs stick to them like glue. They have threat meters and DBM and truly understand what they are supposed to be doing.
The tank you had seemed to fall in category of the "fail tank" and should in no way be a reflection of your ability to heal. Healing is a thankless job more often than not. If you're doing it well, no matter how difficult the pull/mob, the other people in the group won't even notice you're doing anything extraordinary at all. It's your job. But you can't be expected to do your job well if the person you are depending on isn't doing theirs.
TL;DR
Don't give up. The difference between a good tank and a bad one can be as little as 15 minutes.

Just used LHW on myself as an 80 Shaman with 3200SP. 5.2k normal, no Earth Shield.

A fellow healer and I were discussing this the other day. Tanks & DPS (DPS more than tanks) don't realise how much damage they take.
When we keep the bars green they are happy, but when the npcDPS starts overtaking our HPS (due to bad pulls, no CC/aggro management {before I get flamed for this, example would be ppl pulling everything in 1st room in ICC}) we get told we suck at healing.
I have run with tanks that know how to do their job & DPS that watch their threat... and we cleared HoR HC with no deaths... in fact I almost got bored (except that 1st boss... that fear is a pain).
