Panik8 - yes my gear is my only set. my main spec is shadow, not holy, I heal because 1. i get in LFG almost straight away and 2. I am thinking of healing full time so want the xp. Make sure you keep getting those Emblems from heroics! You really do need a
helm for healing seperately, at the least, so you can socket it with this
bad boy! Also, even for shadow, you are really overcapped for hit. You only need
289; yet you have over 500; that's wasted itemisation. Drop the hit trinket in favour of a Spell Power one, and for shadow - farm normal ToC for
this, which is still a fairly strong trinket, especially for shadow priests. Keep the intellect one for holy, it's a nice source of regen - then couple it with the spell power one which you can attain; and that's a strong duo of healing trinkets.
Get
this,
this,
this and
this at least, which will work well for both your specs and drop some of that nasty hit on your gear, as well as supporting both regen
and throughput as holy, and throughput as shadow. You should also work on getting a healing weapon, pair of boots and maybe a wand. :P
Furthermore, because I can see you've downed at least the first 4 bosses in ICC, you should try getting healer gear as well as shadow gear (preferably crit + haste pieces for shadow!)
I dont have a problem with mana regen. if i see myself getting low, i just pop the shadowfiend out for a run and my mana goes back to 100%. Ive never yet had to stop and drink midway through. What content are you talking about, though?
I will take on board what you say about gemming and have a look at swapping some out.Swap all the gemming to
runed in red sockets,
reckless in yellow sockets and
purified in blue sockets, as they will offer you the best perks for both of your specs; as regen shouldn't be an issue (especially when you get your healing helm, the meta equates to ~75 mp5 alone which frees up room for throughput elsewhere!)

This wasn't related to the actual topic, but you could use some guidance - especially with the nasty hit issue. I play as
disc, although I'm on a break at the minute for the exam period, but I enjoy it because I can tank heal effectively in 10 mans (and aid tank healing in 25 mans), but also raid 'heal' very well due to bubbles and hasted PoHs, when push comes to shove. However, I used to play as Holy, and I enjoyed it very much; but when dual spec came out I went Disc/Holy and then wanted a shadow spec, so I dropped holy. Whilst I enjoy both specs, disc I think suits me more; although I'd like to think I still make a fairly good holy priest. ;)
You could try out Discipline, and then compare it to Holy; and pick which one suits your playstyle best. I can't tell you which is better because it's not fact, I think you may well find Holy better than Disc for you, which is just fine, but remember to try both out - preferably in a raid environment (VoA10 would be a good place), and see how comfortable you feel with both specs.
