Just a minor nitpick, but the explanation on this bit is a bit redundant (for want of a better word) the way you've put it.
Prime Glyphs
o
- Recommended. You should be using
Seal of Truth
while tanking. 10 Expertise is a rather large chunk, and in addition to being one of our best threat stats, expertise also reduces a mobs chance of dodging/parrying an attack.
Expertise is one of our best threat stats
because
it reduces a mobs chance to dodge/parry our attacks.
If you take parry hasting into account, you could even see it as avoidance.
Also, personally I'd replace the T9 stuff from the starter set (and the ilvl 245 head/shoulder items for that matter). With the new Justice points, I wouldnt spend 478 JPs on T9 shoulders or 591 on the ilvl 245 ones when you can get T10 shoulders for 695 points.
Granted, with the Chest and Legs the difference in cost is a bit bigger (591 vs 1100), but you should be getting at least 55 JPs for a random Heroic, so the wait isnt that long, especially since you're aiming to Tank.

Ok, I read it.
So what's the point of this macro? It's certainly not the "one button rotation" macro some people asked for.
It's as close to it, as possible.
Actually, I've tried the suggested shift with Judgement, and it turned to be quite nice.
/castsequence reset=5/combat
Hammer of the Righteous, Hammer of the Righteous,
Hammer of the Righteous, Judgement,
Hammer of the Righteous, Shield of the Righteous
(Again, due to bug, from initial 3x HotR only 2 will be cast, but now it's what we exactly want, so meh)
More fool-proof than original variant. Total length 3+1.5+1.5+3 = 9 sec.
You have one GCD after first cast to stick something different without slowing down the Holy Power building.
Backup variant of this macro is to place Word of Glory as Holy Power consumtion spell (helps in the even of massive incoming DPS)
Gone through frozen halls, easily outdamaged everyone in party. Had perfect oversight of the scene, barely watching cooldowns (primarily on Holy Wrath and Avenger's Shield, as well as Consecration I've used on F+M often)
Culprit was on LK chase, where last DPS in party was barely pulling out 2k. Other than that, smooth run.

Doing it manually involving too much button watching. Sorry, button watching not included in my list of enjoyable things.

Then play a different game to be honest. Watching for buttons and watching for fire is pretty much all you're supposed to do in this one.

It's even more boring than 69 rotation. (Not that it's displease me - the less I need to waste my time watching for f'n procs, the more time I can spend controlling scene.
Wait... so the class is SOOOOO easy to play you can make a one-button macro... but yet you can't even keep track of your own abilities?
/headexplode
Also, what procs did Protadins have to watch for before 4.0? I thought it was just 969, without anything special except Hammer of Wrath. Now, we have AS coming off cooldown, Holy Power to get and spend, our ability cooldowns are more varied... I mean, how is any of this more boring than repeatedly hitting the same buttons without actually having to react to situations other than to move your character?

I fail to see how it's more "button watching". I have my ShoR on 1, CS on 2 (or HotR on 4), and Judgement on 3. Those are the three (pick either CS or HotR) that are covered by your "one-button-does-all-macro". How hard is it to remember
2, 3, 2, (fill), 2, 1
vs
2, 2, 2, (fill), 2, 2
? I can't see a reason to develop a macro to make such an easy concept "easier".
Not to mention, let's say you're
planning
on using ShoR, so you go through your whole macro, but once you get past the 3rd CS/HotR, the boss drops you to 5k and you need a desperation WoG. You use WoG, but your macro still has ShoR listed as the next ability to use. Now your macro is @#$%ed, isn't it?
I've NEVER been a fan of one-button macros simply because it enables you to play the most simplistic role possible for your class. Nothing better, nothing worse.

I use macros to save space on my bar.
AS / (Shift) Judge
CS / (Shift) HotR
SotR / (Shift) WoG
HW / (Shift) Conc
HoW / (Shift) HoJ
Also have mouse over macros for taunting and the other hand spells.

Updated the "Starter Gear" section to include T10 items now that they're farmable.
Also updated the recommended build to included one point in
Guarded by the Light
for all-around utility, and removed the crap I had written against it.
As far as the all-in-one macro goes, I despise it because of it inflexibility and numerous limitations. There are any number of circumstances can "break" its usefulness. Blizz has stated that Paladins were far too reactive as a class - this is one of the reasons
Ardent Defender
is now a cool-down instead of a passive ability.
Additionally, this is also why we were given Holy Power/ability procs - so we would have to pay more attention and actively make decisions during a fight. One of my first issues with the new system was breaking myself free from the muscle memory of the 969 rotation. Pushing one button is not how Paladins are intended to be played.
The macro ideas listed by SlowSide, however, are quite viable.

Those are macros?
I just use separate action bars. As in, 1-6, Q, E, R, and mouse buttons on one bar, then another bar for those same buttons + shift, and another bar for those + alt. Then my fourth bar is for stuff I click (potions, drinks, weird cooldowns I don't use often, etc. Basically anything I don't mind looking away from the action to click on).

Yup, I use macros , I don't like bar paging, just personal preference since both ways accomplish the same thing. I also try to keep things as minimal and clean (aka empty) as possible so I only have 2 bars showing all the time.

I got ya guys. I've just always pictured macros as doing things that you normally wouldn't/couldn't do otherwise (/castrandom, chat macros, easily use two abilities off the GCD at once). I've never delved into macros that much.
Updated the "Starter Gear" section to include T10 items now that they're farmable.
Now that you have higher level gear in your starter pack, you may want to change your gems and enchant listings to focus more on getting unhittable (which is possible with the gear you list). This also includes changing your metagem to the block one.
Just something to think about.
We also only have about a month until Cataclysm releases. When that happens, this whole guide needs quite a bit of revamping... XD

don't agree with Ardent Defender is now a cool-down instead of a passive ability.
it was done to make every class a whack a mole trying to do a rotation with 3 other things thrown just to screw it up.
1234 NOT if X procs then its 12 X IF YOU CAN 3 4
oh wait Y goes in 1 2 Y if you can then 4
BUT if you hit x and y comes up then you should have waited. BUT if you hit Y go do 2 then 4
but you can do a 3 and then a 2 on tuesdays and thursdays after 5pm
yea that will make it more fun
