Well, homosexuality exists in more then just fruit flies; a wide array of species have it, you just don't really notice it. So it's not that surprising it occurs in humans; we are just a 'higher' form of animal.

I agree with MyTie. I would be interested in the topic, but I don't feel like reading a full PDF file, atm.
It's only 5 pages long, half of which is taken up by pretty pictures + the endnotes :P
Now, something I'd like to add: genetic =/= natural. That's not a conclusion you can readily jump to.

I thought this was established a little while ago... I at least have known for a fact that it's genetic - for at least a few years. The research is probably worth reading, if you are interested in the methodology - but the TL;DR version is in the title.
