I did some searching, but I couldn't find anything related on this topic.
I'm a Blood specced DK Tank, and I was wondering how good the Tier 10 2 and 4 piece bonuses are. The 2 piece is only useful for trash tanking and the occasional boss fight that involves adds as those are the only cases your using D&D. The 4 piece bonus looks pretty good, but I'm not sure if going for the 4-piece Tier 10 is better than the individual pieces like the Cloak and Belt first, as those are BiS for me as well.
I have the Sanctified Legs, and currently have 60 Emblems of Frost so I was thinking about getting the Shoulders, but they don't seem like that much of an upgrade over the 245 Triumph ones. The 2 bonus is decent, but is it good enough to go for the 2 piece over the Belt/Cloak?
So basically: for someone who isn't in a 25 man or 10 Heroic raiding guild, is the 4 piece Scourgelord going to be the best there is to get, or should I go for individual pieces instead (Frost Emblem off-spec pieces and random pieces from ICC)?

The 4piece is nice, the 2p isnt. I personally am in the same situation as you and I first went for the frost offpieces(trink, belt, cloak) and atm im saving for the 4p, excluding chest as I'll go for the 264 frost chest later. Imo get the t10, as the 4p bonus rocks, but get the offpieces first.

Thanks for the advice guys!
Had one more thing I wanted to ask, and I might as well do it here as to avoid another thread, hopefully someone will see it despite the topic.
This
is my Blood DK Tank, and I've been doing some ICC the last 2 weeks (PUGs that weren't very good, so only managed to do 3/12 in both 10 & 25) and I can't seem to get any aggro on multi-mob pulls.
By the time I have my D&D down, diseases up and spread them around, the other tank(s) are already so high on threat that it's impossible for me to get them off (without taunting/DG). The mob I initially put my diseases up will be fine on aggro for me, and usually 1 other as well, but all other ones are always on the other tank(s).
I know Blood's AoE threat isn't that good compared to other tanks, but as it is currently I might as well not be there as I'm not really doing anything.
As I said I drop a D&D, throw up my diseases and Pestilence, than BB and HS/DS tabbing.
Is there something I'm doing wrong ability wise? Is my spec/gear not good (enough)? Or am I just doomed to being useless on trash?

Maybe Im strange, but tbh, I usually have no problems keeping aggro over equally geared paladins/warriors when I make the pull(which I usually do as im mostly MT in pugs) as paladins get less threat if they dont have aggro through not getting blocks for HS and mana, and warriors getting rage starved. And actually, if you tab around runestrikes and heartstrikes you can get quite a nice aoe threat.
