Besides, zooming out doesn't work when youre tanking with your back to a wall (which is necessary sometimes).
But then you just turn the camera around and 'face' your bear...
Also, all tanks have to deal with this point...

Just because the default camera angle is looking at your bears ass doesn't mean you can't change it.
QFT. Hold down the left mouse button and turn your camera around where you want it. Unless that means you can't click on Rend...

Does it really matter if you can't see your bear? It still exists, even if you can only see the bosses knees, and you're abilities still work. Be annoyed for 3mins, and move on.

That's all well and good if it's a tank&spank. But if there's movement, adds, stuff to move out of, etc., then you kinda gotta be able to see.

Yep, I realise I can zoom out, and that's the only solution that's been offered in the past when other people have asked the same question as me.
I think though that if people tried a macro like the one I posted, and set the CVAR i quoted to its lowest value, I think a lot of them would think it's actually much better, as you have more of an elevated (but still behind) view of your bear, so you can see what's going on around you without having to zoom out. It also makes shifting forms more streamlined as there's no screen movements going up and down, it stays at the same height.
That's the way it worked in TBC, I wish they hadn't changed it. I've deleted my druid now anyway, I can't be doing with all that screen height up and down and changing zoom business every time I change forms. Besides, zooming out doesn't work when youre tanking with your back to a wall (which is necessary sometimes).
WOW......OCD much?
I think they have a pill for this......

If you have a problem that other people come around by doing something, they tend to tell you what to do. Surprise?
If people tell you how to solve a problem, and you respond by throwing a hizzyfit... See above.

I'm a druid tank, and I do not consider this a problem.

I think we've had quite enough name-calling here, and it didn't quite help the way the original post was edited. While fire can occasionally be fought with fire, it hardly works out well in cases like this. The way a question and/or issue is presented comes a long way in what to expect in answers.
