If Kael'thas was stupid enough to become a pwn of the legionEh, Kael was intending on turning against the Legion and transform them into his own personal power supply for his people, but we stopped that.
Illidan turn himself into a demonPower mad and arrogance did that to Illidan, he was always after power.
its just as likely for someone like Garrosh, who lets face it, the last two where smarter then he is, would do something the same./shrug, Well, whatever, we'll have to wait; you think he would be dumb to do it, I don't(and a few people do agree) so yeah, we'll let it drop here.

Fine, but just as many people think he will do something just as stupid as drink demon blood, so its just as much either way.
Anyway, the point being, kael'thas was a respected leader of his race, and he did something beyond redeemable, even when he was a powerful leader to his own. Its just as likely for anyone in such a desperate position.

after
he fell to the Legion he did something iredeemable lol(sorry Tauren, but I had to).

Alright he was already going nuts before he joined the legion, still a case of how he went mad and did something beyond redeemable.

Heh, aye, but that's pretty standard fare in Warcraft lore.

Why do you talk about fking lore? This is about WoW cataclysm forum. You want lore talk, there is a forum for that.
or Illidan turn himself into a demon
Illidan is more powerful lore vise, game mechanic vise. Don't bring your fu**ing, but he isn't honorable, and he ain't good in novels and stuff. Illidan was the one who tryed to stop the Lich King, and he fail'd because of Malfurion, he was betrayed.
BTW: Why he was in Black Tample killable? I think there was no reason to kill him.

Lore is part of the game. And we killed Illidan because he was attempting to conqueror all of Outland, then move onto Azeroth. And note please; there is no game without the lore.

So draenei conquered whole Outland now. What's the difference? Since those blue aliens did nothing at all.

Cataclysm is about both the changing of gaming mechanics, bosses, and the lore itself. The lore surrounding cataclysm being spoken about in a cataclysm thread? Wow, who'd have thought of that.

But Thrall is also a very very boring character, a good warchief, a great leader, wise and just blah blah blah. Very boring. Garrosh is stupid, angry, racistic and violent, makes for a much more interesting storyline than good old boring Thrall.
Same goes for Wrynn, with those 2 in the lead absolutely anything can happen. Full war? yes. Drinking tainted blood? yes. Alienating large portions of your own faction? Yes.
When cataclysm comes, Thrall would just try to remain civil, fight the new threat, and try to keep a diplomatic relationship with alliance. The whole world (of warcraft) is turning into chaos, it will be much more fun (storywise) with a dumb unstable leader than a smart stable one.

False. The Mag'har have a large part of it, as do various Arrakoa and Ethereal cartels.
Stop talking before you make yourself look even more like a dunce.

I just find it forcing a way of thinking for your characters more then anything else. Suppose you play a character whos thankful for there not being more bloodshed, or in the orcs case, having them bringing the fight to there doorstep. Before it was how orgrimmar was a safe haven, well the more warlike would go off into the world and fight what was needed to be killed. Now though, its come to the orcs being the aggressors again, and that redeemed quality they had being smashed.
And if you don't like Thralls want for finding a peaceful resolve thats fine, but he is anything but a boring character, an orc who would choose peace and salvation for his people rather then fighting and conquring all around them? thats as unique as wrynn being an orclike warmonger with the oh so peaceful alliance, its a counter balance between them.
If I wanted war loving brutal brain dead orcs, I'd go warhammer, or lord of the rings.

A majority of Wow orcs are "brutal brain dead orcs",Thrall is the oddity.
Thrall = human like
King Chin = Orc like
The devs wanted a more horde vs alliance feel and they had to get Thrall out of the way. buckle up cause this is how its going to be for 4.0,4.1,4.2 ect.
So what your saying is, have the alliance lead by someone who thinks he's an orc warmonger, well having the orcs lead by an actual orc warmonger.
Thats like so unbalanced its ridculous.
