When i was 79 with my prot warrior and did some warsong gulch just for fun, i did twice the damage of the guy who was second. The second one was a lvl 79 warlock with 450k damage done. I admit i kinda focused on him.
Getting dual spec at 40
will
be an issue,
if
it drives you off from the awesomeness which is the Protection tree. Why do you want a pure DPS build, when you have Prot, which does the SAME DPS, and has more survivability?
hint: Revenge is insane beyond any borders.

You must run in def stance with a shiel, to use 2 wonderful skill like revenge and shield bash. Revenge crits for 1500 dmg at lvl 46, i'm always first for dps in every istance. With arms dual spec i do 50 less dps(250 prot 200 arms) and i have the same gear dor both(i mean i have a full sta set and a full str set, a blu one hand and a blu 2hand etc). Overpower is nothing compared to revenge. In bg i think i swith battle only when i see a caster(only before charge in def stance)

QFT.
I'm atm leveling
prot warrior
and pulling most DPS in 99% of all encounters. And what's best? Incredibly fast leveling using LFD system. Instant queues <3

Thanks for the responses. I have noticed how revenge does hit hard and it gives a free heroic strike. I just having a hard time with kiters. I have to switch from battle stance to get a charge and i lose all my rage when i switch into def. Im still new at this so i hope to find a better way to get close to kiters as prot. Thanks again.
my armory:

Kiters will probably continue being a pain till level 30. I can only suggest you Carry on stance dancing to keep Hamstring up and hope they are silly enough to melee you so you get a revenge proc ;p
Oh, right. Level 30 you get
this
&
Berserker Stance
.
Something else to spur you on playing the mighty prot warrior,
Warbringer

I think the best way to lvling prot is with this spec
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#LZZVIurx0zVbI:dhM0mz
: in istance the only issue is retarding tunderclap, and with a 8 rage cost you can use this skill after 2 sec. I would also say that gag order is useless till you can pick damage shield: before is really better spamming revenge+cleave(300-400 dmg of shield slam vs 1800 crit dmg on 2 mob of revenge plus free heroic strike). Shield slam cost to much ti be a viable option now, also because without the 2 talents it does low dmg. With the glyph you underline tunderclap, add another strike to cleave and have 10% more blocking, not bad. Sincerly, i use sunder armor only on bosses, and i'm lvl 47. I've never lost aggro, and i'm doing only istance from lvl 15. I just run into a mobs group, demo shout+ tunderclap, then shield block+revenge and another tunderclap when is ready: then i just spam cleave and tunderclap or revenge when they are up, and if i have more then 80 rage i use shield slam(or if i'm fighting against caster or dangerous mob). I'll start pvp when i'll have juggernaut. Without this i killed a 5 lvl over me hunter(he used a pet against me, allowing me a lot of revenge:P)

You're saying shield slam "costs too much", yet you advise cleave spamming? That is fail on so many levels. Cleave, like heroic strike, is an ability that replaces your autoattack, meaning it has a large hidden rage cost in addition to what you actually pay when you press the cleave button.
The glyph of resonating power is a very weak glyph, since it only saves you a maximum of 5 rage per 6 seconds; less than 1 rage per second. Glyph of revenge and glyph of heroic strike will both generate significantly more rage, and rage doesn't care where it comes from; you don't need rage from the TC glyph to cast TC, rage from other glyphs (or any other source) is just as good.
Also, don't waste your time casting demo shout unless you really need to reduce your damage intake to stay alive. It generates effectively no threat, which in terms of keeping aggro means you waste a GCD.
And finally, you advise not to take gag order until you have damage shield, yet the two talents do not interact in any way whatsoever.

Thanks for the responses. I have noticed how revenge does hit hard and it gives a free heroic strike.
It does not give a free heroic strike. It gives a moderate discount on heroic strike, leaving it a still fairly expensive ability in terms of rage, but not nearly as terrible as a baseline heroic strike. The thing is heroic strike replaces your next autoattack, meaning you don't gain the rage that autoattack would otherwise have granted. The revenge glyph does not change that.
If I were to give advice on a levelling prot build, something like
this
would be worth working towards. You won't need last stand and vigilance for soloing, but feel free to pick them up if you want some extra threat and a panic button for tanking the odd instance along the way. Those points should come from puncture, a fairly marginal talent that is only barely decent for soloing, and bypassed for most other uses. You had imp. disciplines in the spec you linked; avoid that talent, it's quite useless for your purposes. Tactical mastery may seem nice at your level, but once you get warbringer it becomes useless since you barely ever leave defensive stance; imp. heroic strike is a better place to spend the points you need to get deeper in the arms tree.

I killed a +5 lvl hunter without juggi and without changing stance... just run like a tanker dropping last stand and shield 6 wall lol. With 3.500 pf, a 1k health potion, 1k hp from last stand and 6 sec of shiel wall it's hard killing me:P
