general BM cookie-cutter build.
Depends on what you want to do with this. Are you PvP'ing? Are you going to raid? Or are you solo'ing?

more of a end game BM raid build. You can swich a few minor things around.
Animal handler is 4% pet hit, which is nice. It has been debated that 4/5 frenzy is all you really need to keep it active almost always. Focused fire should be a no brainer.
YMMV. Keep diggin thru the posts in this forum and you should find plenty of discussion on builds.

spirit bond is useless, if you don't have adequate health to support it. then theres no use in wasting the points. instead but them in imp mend and rev pet. as raiding you dont need the endurance training. it take up more points that what its worth. bestial swiftness is noob because your pet should have some kind of dash. you do want animal handler and focused fire.

I usually take on point in spirit bond to keep my pet and me 'topped' off.
After a fight it saves you just that little bit of mana/downtime you could have used to kill another mob.
In pvp (battlegrounds) it just heals you up pretty quickly while you run all the way towards the other side of the bg.
usually if you need mana then somebody else needs it as well
and sometimes its better to die in a bg to get fully topped off rather than running around waiting for it.

It just occurred to me that it works out to being like one Volatile Healing Potion every minute.
0/3 Ferocious Inspiration is 100% fail IMO.
I hardly use my hunter and when I do, the spec is I have is better suited to what I'm doing than Ferocious Inspiration would be. But yeah, I couldn't seriously defend not taking FI.
To tell the truth, when I first started getting deep in the tree I had some questions about how much FI was worth to me as a solo grinder. But once you notice that it seems to be up nearly ALL the time, you have to consider that even just solo'ing, that's another 3% damage for both you and the pet ALL the time. It quickly became a no-brainer for me, even solo. And if you ever group, it is definitely a MUST for the BM hunter.

Don't leave home without it.
If your pets doesn't regain his health between battles he's dead and you will be dead soon too. Those little numbers add up quick.
