Alignment chart

Here is a link to someone's
alignment chart
, and my own
randomness alignment chart
. I thought it was insightful, but really there is a lot of subjectivity in it. I'd like some unstructured conversation about the alignment chart. I don't want to set a really strict precident, but allow for a free flow of conversation about it. Do you believe you fall somewhere on the chart? Where? Do you feel a certain politician falls somewhere on the chart? Do you ever move around on the chart, depending on your mood?
Where do you feel others would see you on the chart? Where do you think I sit on the chart?
There is something about it... I can't put my finger on it... but there is something here that interests me. Something about human nature...

Didn't those alignments stem from D&D? :P

Yes. I am sad though that they replaced that system with a linear good and evil scale. I really liked the two way split that it used to have, because you're not going to necessary be a good person if you obey the law, because the law isn't always just, and you're not always evil if you rebel against the law.

I see myself as being between 'true neutral' and 'chaotic good'.

Chaotic Evil.
That is all.
(Just kidding, I'm more likely to be true neutral)

For a correct alignment chart, you need to remove all the lawful parts

Neutral good. I recognize the value of law, but I think it is over generalizing, and exceptions need to be made for the greater good.

The point is Randomness is the ultimate cesspool of chaos. So how can the concept of order exist?

Lawful good.
If I'm in a bad mood I go chaotic neutral (I won't go murder people but I'll break some laws...)

You're missing the point.

Well, I don't label people so bluntly, so I would have to think of 'personality' rather than 'person.'
For my own personality, I narrowed it down to 4, then 3, then 2.
For when I just post silly nonsense that no one understands, I'm Chaotic Neutral. Everthing else is Lawful Neutral.
