Every single class is going to get completely reworked. To think spriests would be excluded is naive.

I assume he's a troll, but I know other people who have not read the cataclysm stat changes will read this and think he's right, and that the sky is falling. For those who are misinformed (including the OP), please read:
In cataclysm, Blizzard is going to separate healing gear from caster DPS gear (on clothies) by making spirit and hit only useful for the respective role (spirit for healers, boomkins, and shamans as boomkin and elemental will get hit from spirit; hit for mages, warlocks, and spriests).
This means that caster DPS classes are going to have their Spi-SP conversions removed, and then be rebalanced according to the new stat system.
The entire bolded sentence is important: Yes, as a priest, you may need 2 sets of gear, unless they let you get hit from spirit, too (which I doubt, the reason they give it to boomkins/elementals is because they didn't want a set per spec). Deal with it - currently, druids need 4 sets if they want to fulfill all roles, priests need 2 specs (still don't have hit as an spriest) so nothing changes, paladins need 3 sets, etc.
So to the OP: You haven't seen the numbers. You cannot cry "nerf" when you haven't seen it. If the change was "You no longer get 50% of SP as Spi, but you get 20% more SP" (or something like that, not sure exactly how the numbers would work) then it would likely barely change. Blizzard knows that they are making these changes. Blizzard is changing every class. To look at one change and say "the sky is falling" without looking at the whole picture - and how that change fits into all of the changes in cataclysm - is just foolish.

The only change I "might" complain about is Leap of Faith; sounds like one major annoyance for a raiding shadow priest. Even then I'll wait until Beta before judging how it turns out.
