No. Infact they are increasing the CD again.

Obviously things like Rebirth can't just be handed to out to more classes unless we did something like a second exhaustion mechanic for battle rez or whatever. For now we're going to try the cooldown at 30 min again. In Icecrown's world of limited attempts, a 30 min cooldown likely meant you just cooled your heels until the cooldown was available again. In Cataclysm the hope is sometimes you'll have the benefit available but not every time, which scales back on how much of a game-changer it is.

If you like rebirth so much roll a druid! No that's not helpful I know...
Truth is rebirth is such an unique spell and to give that to all healing classes will destroy druid resto in some way. On my server resto druids are by far not the sought after healers. People prefer Paladin and Shaman healers by far.
The beauty of spells like rebirth, beacon of light, guardian spirit, Prayer of mending, chain heal, etc. is that they belong to the different classes, giving each class its own healing style and usefulness. If they gave all the "cool" spells to each healing class it will destroy each class uniqueness and I believe will completely destroy the need of the different healing classes/specs.
On another note, there was a topic on battlerez to give to all classes that I liked, since you wont be rezzed as your character but as something else ( like the DK's ghoul ). Sounds fun, but saw after some time the complications it had and that thread ended with a No!
Have a good one

As a resto shaman, i would like to say no. I have my reinkarnation, druids have battle ress and warlocks got soulstone and so on.
I like the whole "everyone got their special thing".
I would actually hope that instead they make the ghoul from DKs scale better for all classes and warlocks could so something alike but with a demon instead.
About the whole making the cd longer i don't really get, the cd is nice as it is.
If people want it enough they will wait for the CD so a cd designed so i wont be used more than once a battle seems fine instead of something maybe 2 times a raid (i know it would be more, just making a point). It's their thing and i think it's fine as it is.

As another Resto Shaman, I think Battle-Rez is a very special Druid ability, and it needs to remain that way. Blizzard is making the healer classes more equal and well-rounded... NOT homogenizing them.
I wouldn't mind, however, if Engineers were made able to use their
Goblin Jumper Cables
, mid-combat. They are not guaranteed to work, they take a bit of work to obtain, and they would require someone (most likely a DPSer) to stop what they're doing in order to try to rez someone important.
Besides, Battle-Rez is a very situational ability. It can really shine when a Tank or Healer go down. Or, when you lose one of your better DPSers during a very difficult fight. As a Healer? I don't intend to allow anyone to die on my watch anyway. I don't want to get lazy, falling back upon a battle rez ability, instead of trying to heal as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Not to mention the CD on the cables. I for one approve of Engineers getting to actually use their cable/army knife for something not slight utility. -.-
And as for another class with b-rez? Nty.

I've always found it a bit odd that Druids got the battle rez spell. It seems like it would be better as a Priest spell. Regardless, it's established as a Druid spell, and swapping it to another class would require them to compensate Druids with something unique, so it's there to stay.
I would wholly support allowing jumper cables to be used during combat. Given that it would really be the only non-kitschy item in the Engineer's bag of tricks (compared to special enchantments, extra gem slots, high-powered shoulder inscriptions, etc.), I don't see that it would be overpowered, especially given the random nature of the effect.
Blizzard actually does an extremely good job of keeping every single class individual and unique.
I agree. While there's some homogenization, it's kept as minimal as possible. I've tanked on both a Paladin and a DK; they feel completely different. I've healed as a Paladin and a Shaman; their healing styles are not alike in the least. The only way you could consider them overly-similar would be to say something ridiculous like, "All you have to do is push buttons!" That's true of every class; if you don't like it, you're playing the wrong genre.

Id settle for Ferals and Boomkins that realize they can Brez someone...
Hehe. That's fun to do, especially as the main tank.
