I've been playing nie on 3 years and for the first time in my life i've actually been hacked. I remember the battlenet hacking thing going on a while ago, so now they're using authenticators as a blocker so even if you sort yourpassword getting back on the account takes phonecalls.
I've sent one email and am going to ring them in a bit. unfortunately federalagents signature doesn't include the number for people in the UK and the number appears to be wrong in general.
Anyone else love how they make the game more secure and then it becomes less secure?/

The released the authenticator to help with account security. It's up the user from there. It's not Blizzards fault you didn't secure your account info or your PC.

I own anti virus's and regularly scan my computer, i'm more concerned by the fact things like the authenticator can be used by hackers to cause you even mre trouble, i've fixed my password, but the authenticator has locked me down.
And to top it off i'm paying 25 pence a minute on the phone line, 15 minutes later totalling 3.75 i'm disconnected, and when i try to call back i'm disconnected again.
