I'm not sure this is the best place to ask, but I need to farm some wool to level my first aid, problem is i'm just a level 32 orc and from what I hear the only "good" place is stockades. I'm not sure if I can solo it and I doubt I can even make it there in one piece. So does anyone have any suggestions on where to get some wool for a hordie my level?

Hey.
I have found Deadmines to be the best place for wool, and i think you should able to solo that at a 32, not sure, but you could try :)

might be a bit annoying to get to as horde but do-able. I can try that I suppose, unless someone has a better spot. Oh! and thanks.

Well. you can take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar / Undercity to Grom'gol, then take the main road up into Duskwood, and go west to Westfall.
Otherwise swim or ride on the shores all the way up there.
*edit* Yay, post nummber 100 :P

Sometimes straight out farming something will cause you to spend more time than if you just made some gold to buy it from the AH. If you have a gathering profession and spend time harvesting nodes, then use the profits from that to buy the wool, you might end up with a higher wool/time ratio. and For Horde, farm the dwarves at Bael'dun in Southern Barrens.
If you want to straight farm the cloth, I've found Bael'dun is great
if you don't have competition for the mobs
. Also, a good habit to get into would be to use your professions to make money. By 80, they are usually worth much more in terms of time spent farming.

The best places to farm most materials are shown at professions.com/farming. The address for wool is
http://www.wow-professions.com/farming/wool-cloth-farming
This location is where two clashing enemies drop lots of wool cloth and leather.
I discovered that while we are allowed only two profession per character, we can have more than one character, each with his or her own two professions. Trading between characters is easy using the postal system (mail box) in WoW. I needed bolts of linen and wool as a hunter (leatherworking and skinning), but I discovered that a character with the tailoring profession could take those materials and manufacture the bolts my hunter needed and send them to him via the mailbox. The tailor character gets the raw materials from the hunter, e.g., light leather, and uses the leather to complete an item that must be done by a tailor.
Of course, it takes a while to groom each character to get them to the level where they can acquire or do the things, but that's life in WoW. A game that can be played in a day, as some boast reaching level 100 in a few hours, or grooming a quality character who has all kinds of honor and abilities.
