Or i can remember gathering stone arrows in the Echo Isles because i could sell them for 1 silver each! 1 SILVER! OMG SO MUCH!
Or the first time i entered Tirisfal Glades with my orc i was like: wtf? ran around mindlessly because i didnt know where i was :P Took the first zeppelin back to Durotar asap xD

Sooo true. Hehe.
I remember how I was leveling my first toon, tauren druid as resto. I always ran into group of mobs, hitting them with my staff and keeping myself healed. Few first levels I also wasn't able to whisper to other players, because I didn't get /w system. :D

When I first started, I thought a Defias in Northshire was another player attacking me. Then I realised that I wasn't PvP activated and it couldn't be a player. Then I murdered the little goit for attacking me for having a look around.
I thought the same thing....I was all upset.....then embarrassed.

I remember back when I first started asking a level 60 why the hell he was asking for a group for DM when he could just solo it. I was only about level 35 or so at the time and didn't know there were 2 DM instances: Deadmines and Dire Maul.
Also, beating my head up against the wall which was Hogger, not knowing what an elite mob was, trying to figure out why the hell a mob only 1 level above me was kicking my ass.
Fun times...

My first character was a blood-elf paladin.
I got him to 55 I think; he was specced into every tree and was levelling with a 'sword and board' (still had the shield from Scarlet Monastery).
I really do miss the naive, noobish days back then. Regardless of what I was doing wrong (or not normal), I was having heaps of fun.
I have levelled a hunter, death-knight and a shaman to 80, a druid to 70 and I seem to be reliving the noobish days because I am now levelling a warrior. Yes I've read stickies and class guides, but I run around slamming everything with little regard for the tank. I think that is just the way I learn.

Grinding on harpies in Oracle Glade in Teldrassil for teh phat lootz. Hey. Those
Cracked Bill
s and
Ruffled Feather
s are worth some crazy copper, ladies and gentlemen; don't judge me.
There was also that time we (myself and 4 others I randomly met in Astranaar) decided to go raid Crossroads. Did I mention none of us were more than about level 20-25 at the time? Yeah; we all got picked off one by one at the gates to The Barrens. None of us knew about the little side entrance off to the side... not that we wouldn't have met the same fate upon reaching X-roads.
Oh, oh, and how 'bout this one?
Me:
Hey, can someone tell me how to get into General Chat?
Guy:
You should start off in it.
Me:
Oh, okay. How do I say stuff?
Guy:
Just type "/1" and hit the space bar, then you can type whatever you want to say.
Me:
... it's still not working. :(
Guy:
Are you on Trial Account?
Me:
Yeah, why?
Heh. Failure.

My main was in his mid teens when I met a couple other lowbie guys and joined their guild. We played together for a couple days, then the following sequence took place:
Guildie 1: Hey, Guildie 2 has a guild on another realm. We're going to go make toons over there and join his guild. Want to come along?
Me: Sure.
Log out. Change realm. Create new toon. They're standing around the start area.
Me: Hey, guys, what's up?
*Guildie 2 has invited you to join the guild 'N00b Assrape Clowns'. Accept / Cancel* (wasn't really paying attention to the guild name, but it was something rather obnoxious like that.
*Accept*
*Guildie 2 has promoted you to guild leader.*
*Guildie 2 has left the guild.*
Me: WTF?
Guildie 2: Hey, have fun with your guild.
Me: /gquit
*You are the guild leader, you cannot leave the guild without specifying another leader.*
O, guild tab: 1 member (1 online)
Me: >:-(

I miss the days when the world was super huge and I was always scared in Duskwood cause of the atmospher, The feeling of seeing new zones. Ahh the good old days.
This ^^ Except add Western Plaguelands in there.

This ^^ Except add Western Plaguelands in there. Absolutely this.
I remember leveling in Hillsbrad on my first hunter. I ended up by the river with the turtles and plentiful Sagefish schools (which I fished up for the greens, cloth, and for cooking
Sagefish Delight
).
I followed the river all the way up to WPL. All I remember is being scared out of my mind wandering around the dead-looking lake around Scholomance (which I didn't know was there at the time) expecting some crazy-ass undead legion to come out of the ground and gang rape me.
I also didn't know that there aren't actually any mobs in that part of WPL. ^_^'
Good times; goooood times.
