Ok, all the shadow priests out there, get on it and try this.
Shadow form
Mount up
Dispersion
Drop ShadowForm while in Disp. (Mount should dissapear)
Wait for Disp to end
...
Profit!
This is obviously a bug and i'm having great fun with it, but this basically allows you to become just a floating tag, which i've been told is extremaly hard to click target and i have sucessfully ran past large groups of Ally un-noticed in Battlegrounds :)
HOWEVER
Anything but riding around on your (now invisible) mount will cause the model to re-appear. I.e. Casting any spell or ability, dismounting, probably taking potions and things.
I know the people who already know about this probably hate me now, but i want other people to know about this : ) It'll get hotfixed as soon as someone finds out anyways. I'm just enjoying the "creative use of game mechanics" while i can, and plus. You can just see the look on other peoples faces when a tag just bobbs in front of them.
Enjoy guys. While we still can!

Might add, that this only works if someone can already see you when you turn invisible. If you run away from a person until this person's WoW can't see your character anymore, and then run back. The model will reload and he will be able to see you again.

Remember folks, abusing bugs in the game is BAD, m'kay? VERY BAD.
According to the GM i messaged about this the other day, they are working on it.

Exploiting a bug is not the same thing as 'creative use of game mechanics'.

Exploiting a bug is not the same thing as 'creative use of game mechanics'.Except that this is obviously a bug and not game mechanics. Even the Mage that solo'd
25 Man Nax Military Wing
by the creative use of
Spellsteal
and
Incanter's Aborption
was considered to be exploiting a bug, received a 24 hour ban, and loss of all items he obtained.

Blizzard just calls that kind of thing a bug because they don't like to admit to glaring oversights.
But you can't say he wasn't somewhat at fault, considering he knows Blizzard never intended for a mage to solo (still relevant) 25-man content.

But you can't say he wasn't somewhat at fault, considering he knows Blizzard never intended for a mage to solo (still relevant) 25-man content. And Blizzard never intended for the game to fail to load a character model after that player cancels shadow form while dispersed while mounted. Lol.
Also, while screwing around doing dailies, it also works on multiple-passenger mounts. Pretty silly.
