Personally, i prefer the paladin rotation over the feral. Feral tanking can get a bit booring in raids, as you mostly just have to spam spam spam to keep aggro at a maximum. With the paladin i feel a bit more free to swap in a few helpful spells here and there. Ofcorse for maximum threat you would still need to keep a tight rotation, but at some points you get a leftover GCD, and have a choise what to press.
In heroics i prefer the bear tho. Swiping my way to victory, and topping the damage meter.
Paladins have a bit more survival tools tho, and a few times ive been the last one standing, soloing the last 30-odd-% off a heroic boss when my random group fails, but its not as easy to pull a huge number of groups. Bears have the luxory of beeing able to move while AoE-ing. Concecration is stationary, so if you have triggerhappy dps, its a bit harder, but still doable.
I love both my druid and my paladin tho, and they are alot of fun to play. I don't think i could choose one over the other.

maybe, all that costing a ridiculous amount of gold to repair as well.
Not sure about this one, but someone told me that our armor degrades faster to make up for the lower repair cost. So repair costs should even out at the end.
Or so I hear ... Anyone who can confirm?

I think its quite a silly reason to choose a class...
But still, paladins has the
Divine Intervention
spell. No repaircost.
Druids
Nightelves have
Shadowmeld
that, if timed right, can be used for repair-cost prevention. Altho its nigh impossible to use as a tank in a raid situation.

That's discrimination, us taurens don't have that :(

Ah. My bad. I keep forgetting druid =/= nightelf. (I also forget nightelf =/= druid.)

Bear is much much much much much easier and simpler.
More freedom too, can move around and swipe, where as a paladin, u have to wait on CD's to pick up mobs, or once uve dropped consecration a mob strays, u cant so easy pick it up.
As a bear u jsut move while swiping and EVERYTHING sticks.
Paladins have more surviveability more cheap but effecttve tricks, better graphics and more mechanics to enjoy mastering.
Bear is brain dead button smashing but I loves it and is highly effective.
