Interesting question, two places come to mind;
1) Outlands - Skettis, the amount of netherweave cloth from that place is insane, some greens often drop too, and the junk items sell quite well.
2) Northrend -
These things
, all in one spot, chance to drop greens, what makes these special is their 100% chance drop item,
Dissolved Soul Essence
, a really nice way to make some gold

This ^^ If you can solo Auchindoun (specifically Auchenai Crypts or Mana Tombs) you can make some insane cash there.
