Pet dps loss Vs. Raid benefit

In certain raid situations I find that my groups are lacking a rogue or warrior for their armor reduction abilities. I was thinking of running a spore bat for the spore cloud or a worm for acid spit. I have done a bit of reading and have found that certain other classes abilities seem to "stack". IE: the worms acid spit will stack with faerie fire, curse of weakness.
I would think there would be a dps loss on the part of the hunter. Would the dps loss be worth the extra damage the raid would gain against a single boss target via the hunter pet ability?

I believe the sporebat is below minor debuff, isn't it 3% instead of 5%?

Thank you all very much. The Worm is 100% out of the question, well not until they make bm a viable raiding spec. The wasp seems to be the way I will go. Also from what I have herd from other hunters the wasp is good in pvp as well. Situationaly it seems to make sense to have both a wolf and wasp ready to go for raiding so that you can switch when needed.
@whybag
The amt on the sporebat is 3%.
