Trying "too hard" ?

Lately I made some post because I had some work to do with my threat and things like that.
I've worked it alot.
Now, each week I'm doing ICC, like, at saurfang or other, other tank have a "hard time" to catch up my treath. (I normally do the double of their DPS)
So right now, the other tank are telling me : You are "trying to hard" to DPS. Our jobs is to tank and not dps.
As for myself, I think a high dps tank help the raid.
But well, to make sure to not do "too much treath/dps" I would need to just.. stop using lacerate. Or only use maul.
Lots of time. When I know the other tank have to taunt, I'm stoping every skill only doing white it. And still, I get the boss back. Or taunt is just failing.
So, is it me the problem, should I stop "trying too hard" ? Or other need to catch up ?
To give numbers. I'm doing 3.8k up to 4.9k dps on boss. Other tank are around 1.5k up to 2.2k. I guess it change alot.
Any tips, opinion on the situation is welcome.

No ICC tank should EVER go as low as to 1,5k dps. I mean what in the seven hells are they doing? Sleeping on their keyboards?
You are not trying "too hard". You are trying approapriately. But the tanks you run with are
#$%^ing noobs
. Either tell them to man up and try hard too, or to stop even looking at you in a bad fashion. They are not worthy.
Seriously, WHAT. 2,2k dps? I can do over 2k on a DUMMY with my DK tank. And yes, dummy does not hit back, and a DK tank needs to be hit back to get a really good damage. My paladin was probably level 72 when he did 2k dps, lol... okay, pallies are not THAT OP, but my OT in ICC normally goes around 4k dps. And warriors got a crazy buff recently, so their DPS is somewhere around the pallies.
2,2k is Naxx-worthy DPS.

Link their armouries and we'll tell you whats wrong with their builds and lack of threat.
Also utilise paladins in your raid at switchover points. They can hand of salvation and hand of protection you. You can also shadowmeld, while u dont drop any threat, it will be suspended allowing your other tank to build some up. Don't forget cat form is -30% threat, maybe you could macro a barkskin/survival instincts/cat form/cower macro.
But you and your raid shouldn't have to work so hard to make up for the fail tank u raid with.

To be honest, I don't really like the fact that everyone's saying he's noob.
I couldn't make it this week and, he ran with another tank. It suposely worked perfectly. Had no problem at all.
And I made it wuth a Pug, DK tank, which I don't remember his name and, it was kinda the same problem has the tank in my guild.
Here's my armory :

I got Maul macroed at every skill, maybe I should just drop it from some skill, like FF ?
I only play tank since one or two month and he's playing his since 5 years so, nything I can do to get it work better ?

I suggest that you not use Maul when you aren't tanking the boss. At least not bound to every skill. Maul is our highest threat generating attack afaik. Try what Nnoutaja said above.

My action bars have my bear abilities with and without a macroed maul on em.
The row that shifts when you change form contains the macroed abilities, the row above it the unmacroed abilities. I use the unmacroed abilities more for rage-starving moments (i.e. the other tank taunted the boss off of me) rather then out-threating the other tank. It DOES happen sometimes, but not really that often.
So where I am going here, is that you should pretty much follow Nnoutaja's advice: when the other tank taunts, start using your unmacroed abilities until he has a decent threat lead. Then you can see how many mauls you can throw in to waste that excess rage.
To be honest, I don't really like the fact that everyone's saying he's noob.
You do make him sound like one, don't blame us! ;-)
Just looked at the armories quickly, and I noticed he barely hits the expertise soft cap, while gemming massively for it! And you have almost double the expertise without gemming for it! (Actually, all of his gemming is just ieuw, hit/strength, hit/stam while being over the cap, ...)
18 stam on shoulders is bad, either take the pvp 30 stam one or sons of hodir.
Eeeeeeeek Titanium weapon chain!
... just saying.

You do tank swaps. When it's your turn to tank you should go all out with damage dealing skills.
When it is his turn to taunt you STOP using your skills. Keep auto-attacking, keep the Mangle debuff up on the boss and keep the 5stack of Lacerate running. Don't do anything in between unless you see that the other tank has a HUGE lead in threat.
When the other guy is tanking your job is to watch his threat and not take over. You swapped the boss for a reason (e.g. some debuff on you) so you have to make sure the boss doesn't target you until you want it to.
Stop doing your high threat rotation when it's not your turn to tank.
That being said you will put out some threat even when not tanking at the moment. You have to Mangle and Lacerate occasionally. The other tank shouldn't have any problems with that and if he does then he sucks.
Another possibility is to just switch to cat form and dps a little. This of course only works for fights in which you know exactly when to taunt back because you need some time to switch forms. Festergut or Deathwhisper are good examples since you can watch the debuff on the second tank and just jump back to bear early enough. Saurfang is a fight in which you should never ever leave bear form since you don't know when exactly he casts the debuff and you always have to be ready to taunt.
