I can sum this entire argument in one sentence: To each his own.
If you don't know what that means then well, I can't help you and you shouldn't be trying to argue in the first place.
So very true.

If you were to suggest that Blizzard would be selling a re-skinned version of the rarest mount in the game for $25 a few months ago on these exact forums, you would've been bombarded with people saying it would never happen or that they would never buy into that. And yet...here we are.
Funny how a sparkly flying horse can change so many people's opinions so easily.

Really all this discussion about the mount? I mean who cares how someone else wants to spend their money. All the different ways to obtain mounts, now you can buy one.
Its the Lil XT that really grinds my gears. I mean really.......come on now that's just uncalled for.

Money comes and goes so easily, so $25 is nothing. I spend that on lunch without consideration.

Except this effects other players. The mount does effect the game and several levels
Such as? So far, the only "effects" that I've seen offered have been minor at best, completely inaccurate at worst.

Except this
effects
other players. The mount does
effect
the game and several levels. People have a right to voice opinions about things that
effect
them, kind of the point of this and other forums. I would speak out about you donating money to a Neo-Nazi group(extreme example here) in my town, even if it was YOUR money. Once you start
effecting
others with your choices, start expecting opinions from those
effected
.
Since you've already invoked
Godwin's Law
, I'll be the Grammar Nazi. It's
"affect"
, not
"effect"
.
"
Players were affected by the purchase of the steed. Its net effect was more sparkles on the server.
"
Also, you never said
what
supposed effect this has on other players, other than those who have aneurysms whenever they see one.

Don't get me wrong - I've seen multiple people toss out examples of how the mount affects them. But in every case, the so-called affect is either so minor in regards to game mechanics as to be negligible, or based on a flawed logic.

Heh,seems to me,this "effect" is called jealousy.

I still would like to hear a vaild point on how this affects anyones gameplay, qwerty only says !@#$ like "omg you couldve bought 2 more mths worth or couldve bought something else blah blah blah" so he obviously is just crying instead of making a valid point, so I would like to hear how is this mount actually affecting yours or others gameplay besides having to look at it, and dont say because its a bought mount because that just falls into the same tired argument qwerty and others try to defend.

I wish but people will still cry about it even though they have no real reason to other than not wanting one/cant get it for any reason. And then you got some people bringing up fake arguments like how this will lead Blizz to sell actual armor and weaps even though this hasnt happened, yet for some reason they know it will because of some mount that has no actual gameplay advantage whatsoever

What confuses me is if you love the game so much, why would you buy this mount instead of more game time?
Priorities fail?
It's called you can cover both.
Point fail?
How is that possible? That's $25.00. T-w-e-n-t-y-f-i-v-e dollars! That's 250 dimes.
You must have won the lottories.
