Okay well to start my gearscore right now is about 3023 on wow heroes. im doing 4k dps with the buff of trueshot and dragonhawk on a heroic dummie.
i was just wonder if this is the right amount of dps for the gears and spec that i have .

i think my rotation is simple to most ppl but its hunter's mark,serpent string, chimera shot, aimed shot, acrane shot,steady shot,and repeat of course kill shot whenever is avaliable
I know that there is alot more experienced hunter users out there and just hoping someone would help me. and tell me if i need any changes in my spec, gears and the way i gem them. and tell me if im on the right track of a hunter
i have about 100 frost emblem and was also wondering what set piece i should buy.

so i just got two t10 and two t9 but one of them is both leggs . i got the t10legs from voa so yeah . should i change the leggs for t10 bonus or keep the t9 bonus?

While I agree that GS doesn't mean skill, I also think it's not useless. Whenever I throw together a last min pug I use GS to show me the person didn't just hit 80 yesterday. It no way guarantee's a successful run but if you are inviting people with barely 4k GS's and expect to get far in an ICC 10 PuG then you got another thing coming.
When someone is barely pulling 1.2k dps in a 25 man and has a GS ~ 3500 then it makes perfect sense. If you have the same dps on someone with +5k GS then you /ignore said player. Like I said, doesn't always translate into skill but it's not useless.
