A thought.
The man thought.
The man wondered at this. He thought. How long had it been since he thought?
The man wondered what else he could do. He wondered if he could speak.
“What happened?” was all he said. He looked down at his hands. They didn’t look like he remembered them looking. The flesh was pallid and thin, and seemed to have contracted as if he were dehydrated.
And then there were the bones. He noted that his fingertips were gone. So that’s what had happened.
He looked up.
“Where am I?” he asked, looking around. The place felt familiar, but he couldn’t place it. He could remember very little. “Ah yes...” he muttered, stepping inside the chapel.
He looked around. The place had sure grown messy. The pews were broken or misplaced, and the drapes were torn to tatters. The single stained glass window above the pulpit was shattered, its pieces littering the floor.
He noted that it was darker than he remembered. This place, as he remembered, had always been full of light and life. He remembered the joy and warmth that had once filled the air of the building. But now it was cold, and dark, and there was nary a soul to laugh or smile, besides the two bodies on the floor.
He moved up to the podium. His notes were gone. He always kept them up there. Some vandal had probably made off with them.
He looked up as someone else entered the church. They seemed like they were in poor health. Their skin was pale, or missing altogether in several places. The poor fellow had only one eye, and the other seemed to glow with unnatural cold light.
“Father?” the newcomer asked, seeming confused.
“What is it, my child?” the first man questioned, looking down at the poor soul.
“I have sinned,” the second answered at last, an air of sadness in his voice.
The first man nodded and stepped down from the pulpit, seating himself absently on the front pew.
“As have I...” he answered quietly, looking down at his hands once more.

Pure billiance. There havn't been many Forsaken fan-fics on this for some time - that I've seen, anyway - so this will be interesting to see how it continues.

So this is it... ;)
I'm looking forward to more, because I have more information than Tau and Morec (me-thinks) and would like to see how much this will progress. Also, I liked the confusion. :D

And what information would this be? Hmm?
Nope, because it would be off with my head if I spoilt it!
