There were plenty of war-crimes the Allies committed. And not just America, either; Britain experimented with mustard gas and other lethal toxins on live, human subjects in Australia. It really is awful to see what a war like that will make people do...
I know that, but my point is that I don't buy the official records of them, because as already stated, history is written according to the victors.

Actually, there is footage known as "Keen as Mustard" of the experiments. I never saw it myself, but I've had it described to me.
Yes, but that's likely a droplet in the ocean; the majority of which will remain covered up.

*just feels like adding some random oppinion*
We all know country and politics are like kids.
giving those kids sticks, in this case armies or nuclear weapons, is... Well pure stupidity.
In my opinion if no country had a personal army, but rather all armies where gathered into one, and everything would be controlled by a neutral force, well there would be less kids comparing genitals and slapping the other kids with the sticks.
-No Country should have power
but they should have control
That may or may not have come out wrong as its midnight and im tired xD
And yes i know there are some neutral armies etc. But as long as the "kids" keep having their "sticks".
We will continue to wage war over personal values of good and evil.

Have you ever heard of Nuclear Deterrence?
How many of the countries who have been confirmed to have nuclear weapons are at war right now? It's a lot more gray than you make it out to be.

We will continue to wage war over personal values of good and evil.Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I don't think it would ever be in our best interest to have the total military power of the world at any one force, no matter how "neutral" it claims to be. There is no true neutrality. Corruption will be in everything until we let the computers have power. And then we get
AM

which is why the "neutral" power would be every single country that had an army had something to say. 100% equal so size doesn't matter.
But ofc power corrupts, well that or the "corruption" is just human nature :P

Yea , like America is innocent...
They just happen to get attacked by the most oil rich countries in the world during their increased need of oil period?

But ofc power corrupts, well that or the "corruption" is just human nature :PWell, if the armies aren't in the countries power, the neutral power has all the power. If the countries do control the armies, the "neutral power" is more of just an alliance.
Yea , like America is innocent...
They just happen to get attacked by the most oil rich countries in the world during their increased need of oil period?Well, both Iraq and Afghanistan have more freedom now than they did under Sadaam and the Taliban, respectively, right?
I don't really think that the war in Iraq was timed very well (although the war in Afghanistan is a different matter), but you can hardly say that America is the bad guy here.

Skreeran, I love your sig. That was one of the most awesomely disturbing stories I've ever read.
Sorry about the off-topic post, just disregard this. I'm not sure what I can add to the debate at this point.Oh yes, I loved it too.

I personally find the whole nuclear thing pretty funny...
Did Iran complain to the UN yet about being excluded in the Nuclear Arms Bill? (I can't remember what it is called so...)

They already have a "neutral army". It's the UN peacekeeping force. It's also the most useless peacekeeping force on the planet, because they're not allowed any real weapons (for fears of the sort of "one world gubmint" you've described).
And unless given orders, they can't do anything, even save civilian's lives, unless they are attacked. I'm thinking of the Rwandan Genocide, if anyone was wondering.
