If you think Rot is an encounter where there's LOTs going on, wait till you do the Blood Council. First time I ran that, I was like, "wtf is going on?" Everyone's all over the place, there's balls and magic all around, and people kept switching targets. Pretty funny to see from a bird's eye view.

Unidentifiable Organ (H)
Dropped last night from PP. Have been playing around with it a bit. Its an amazing trinket to use on Blood princes for 10 man when your tanking both bosses. Single hit bosses, well it gets kinda frustrating when your stacks drop off and you lose like 4K health lol!
Solo tanked ony 25 last night with it. omg amazing trinket!
Cheers,
Hat

It dropped the first time (and only so far) time I went to ICC. Lost it to the Warrior Tank. Fortunately for me, the legs dropped off Saurfang and I got those so the night wasn't a total waste.

Didn't drop last night, hopefully this week. As I mentioned, the one time I saw them drop I was on my hunter lol.
Grats on the Organ Hat. Does that mean you're tanking again?

YES!
2 Weeks ago, the guild that put me as Ret, finally dissolved. Last week I apped to the #1 horde guild on our server and tanked for their HSindy kill and their 40 HLK attempts. They recruited me and tonight I will be tanking for all 12 bosses!
With the amazing gear I got in the last week of my old guild (
see here
) I am sad to be leaving DPS because it honestly was very easy and almost relaxing. But I am very much so looking to get back to my tanking roll!
Cheers,
Hat

Damn...40 attempts...that's hardcore. I can't even imagine what that is like...is that all through 1 sitting?

40 attempts all in one night? Don't think that's possible is it? Considering the monologue in the beginning, getting to certain phases and wiping, then the wipe recovery. Don't think there's enough time for it all in one sitting.
My guild generally breaks it up to different nights.

this is just rumeromill, so I don't want anyone making a leve one toon and asking about it. But i heard tell that the #1 aliance guild on out server clears all the hardmodes in one night and then blows all their attempts the next night. As for the full clear on the. First night, yes it's true, our guild does that too. But then it's 40 attempts ok LK. If prep for each attempt is 5 minutes and we get to p1 transition you looking at 15 minutes per attempt, average that down with a couple p1 fails, and you ends up with 5 good atempts per hour. We do about 20 a night, and break in the middle for a guild power slam in WG. (Lol fun) last week ot was 3 raid nights, this week it's going to be 4 nights.
Cheers
Hat
p.s. Sorry for wall of text and typos, posting from a meeting because I'm way to bored of sitting and listening to this conference call.

Go for the trinket. As for me, I'm still holding out for my last 2 shards so I can finally get
Val'anyr
. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we've done Ulduar (we don't get a whole lot of time, spend a lot of time working on Putricide) exactly no shards dropped.

It's that time again! The wife will be out of town, so I'll be able to spend more time raiding tonight, but I'm unsure whether I should spend my time in a 25 man as either DPS or heals, or if I instead should put together a 10 man and try yet again for the Whispering Fanged Skull as ret DPS. Any thoughts? 10 man doesn't have too much else to offer my ret set but that trinket, but if I go as holy, I won't get a shot at rolling for it.
Woot! I'm still waiting till I can get a good chunk of time to do some major raiding. Been slumming in pugs and having to leave after a certain point.
Do you have access to a vent server? Why not form up your own raid group. You'll prob be able to get further in a 10 man, but 25 mans drop better stuffs. Or if your part of a raiding guild, ask if their alts are up for running something with you.
I've been after a few pieces for my hunter and paladin tank. It all revolves around LDW, she's been stingy to me. I need the legs from 25 and trinket from 10 for my hunter, and tanking helm from 25 for my paladin. I still need a whole lot of 10 man stuff for my paladin and 2 more pieces of 25 stuff for my hunter. RNG is not kind to me.

Grab raiders from guilds you know, or people with really high GS's and achievements. Or better yet, in your spam put that you want to hit 7/12 or more and don't bother coming unless you can stay the entire time. That generally weeds out the folks that are freshly new to ICC and also somewhat ensures they stay longer than the first wing.
I'd go with 3 heals, one with a dps offspec if you want to get past the first wing. Flexibility and class makeup will make or break a pug run that may get past blood wing. If you haven't done the fights either, invite a more experienced raider that can explain the mechanics to everyone. Nothing worst than being the raid leader and saying, "Er . . . so I haven't technically done this before". Have them explain everything and follow along yourself.
Since it's 10 man, ideal classes that you can get are mage for water, priest for fort, at least one paladin, shaman would be nice for BL, and someone that can sunder armor. Ranged are generally good, but a good balance is what you should aim for. Don't be afraid to be a bit picky. GL tonight and remember to have fun.

minor gripes...
4 hm gunships and no shield. Still never seen the gunship ring or the boe ring ever...although the i245 one is probably better anyways.
2 hm marrows, no mace.
4 hm end bosses, no token.
Funny you just go around in circles...
