I'm all for discussion. But please, let's keep the chat to priests here. If you want to vent about how paladins or shamans are getting screwed, do it on the corresponding forum. I want to keep this topic nice and clear with discussion that is relevant and thought provoking. Not mindless AMGlolspeak.
The dispel changes are interesting. From a PvE point of view, they have stated that they can now design encounters around the fact that each class can dispel magic.
PvP wise? Yes, Shadow priests at the moment are at a disadvantage, however remember that the talent trees are going to be really, really messed with. We will find out tomorrow what they are after. I will post the info up as soon as i see it.
Until then, try to keep it nice :y

I have a question about the changes regarding the talent trees in general.
Since Blizzard is only raising the level cap to 85, are they planning on expanding the talent trees to have more talents, to the point where the last talent is now a 56 point talent?
Or are they planning on simply revamping the existing trees to make them more "interesting"?

They are simply revamping the trees. However, we will be able to put those 5 points further into another tree if desired.

Karlus, sorry to be nit-picky but it's "compendium" not "conpendium". :P
I'll be keeping an eye on this thread though; I sincerely hope that they don't $%^& up our class...

apparently I'm forbidden! guess i'll just let him figure it out!
I'm interested to see how discipline has changed. That tree already has a lot of utility spells. Hopefully, the spec will revolve around penance and the WS debuff reduction more.
Tomorrow will be a lot of fun!

Seems they have put our priest feedback on hold for another day. Dates have changed to the 8th.
Shaman preview is out however. Not a massive amount of info, but hey, it's better than nothing...right?

It's really only
half a day
.
The post was corrected due to a technicality. When the post goes live it will be the the 7th in the US but the 8th here in Europe (at least in the CEST timezone). We've not delayed the post, just corrected the posting date due to this technicality.
The different 'class reveals' will go live at different times. This one will be during the early hours of CEST. The next may be during the early hours of DST which would mean it'd be posted during daylight hours CEST. Confusing? Perhaps. But the fairest way possible to avoid as much of the 'zomgs this is not fair' posts. Avoiding them entirely isn't possible, though. :)
