You can take a point from conviction and put it in Seal of Command for tanking trash.

Don't listen to anything telling you to change your spec up. I run with the exact same spec that you have now, it's just a modified form of the new ICC raid spec 5/59/7(I use reckoning instead of improved judgements).
I've been running with that spec for a while now and i have NEVER had another tank out dps me, regardless of how much higher their GS is above mine. And remember as a tank, DPS = Threat, for the most part at least.
Here's my armory:

Bottom line is this: Use what works for you. I think there are too many people relying on how other people tell them to play.
I've had people tell me to change my spec and change this and change that and then when we get in the action, I'm mopping the floor with them.
Your playing style will dictate what your spec should be. Don't use what other people says works for them just because it works for them...that would be like a left handed person trying to play baseball like a right handed person...everybody is different...use what works for you.

Use what works for you.
In other words,
ignorance is bliss
.
Post some logs instead of making asinine claims.
PS: 5/59/7... LOL
Here
is a pretty standard cookie cutter raid spec, directly from Quests guide.
If survival is important to you, I would move 2 points from Conviction to Vindication.
Unless you
always
run with players that will debuff the bossess AP for you. Then its two free points for you!

Agreed. The whole "what works for you" argument reeks of ignorance. It's a copout people use that think they know what they are doing when they are really just tools getting carried through content.
7 points in ret tree is all that needs to be said about that guy. WRX 4 HIM LOL

LOL I knew my post was gonna get alot of flame...I'm not going to waste any time defending what I(and anyone who has played with me) know works. Yes there's a right and a wrong way to do things, but there is more than just 1 right way and 1 wrong way...there are several of each. Don't be restricted by the status quo.

Oh and Mesiah...yes i know im 64/7...i said i use a modified version of the 5/59/7...swapping out Seals of the Pure for Reckoning...SotP is in holy...reckoning is in protection...move 5 points from holy and put it in protection = 64/7...cmon i shouldn't have to explain that. Your experienced right?....besides i said it in my original post.

Yes i had originally wrote the post you quoted and then decided to edit it because it's really not worth argueing over.
and Messiah, I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt you have tried that spec build. So to say all those people are ignorant is the pot calling the kettle black.
