I think you made a mistake Liq.
If I may, 3/3 Imp. Eviscerate & 2/3 Ruthlessness > 2/3 Imp. Eviscerate & 3/3 Ruthlessness.
I wasn't sure so I verified on my sheet, and switching from the former to the latter makes me loose 14.5 dps in my late ICC-25 gear.

On single target fights. If there is a lot of target switching, you won't be eviscerating as often.

My bad, I see the nuance ;)

OP nitpicked again for quick re-evaluation of how good Rupture actually is.
What else should I add? Or should I just leave it be for now?

Perhaps something about epvalue switches?
Like when the evi specc might become more favorable, because of a right amount of passive arp.
Also the difference in agility and attack power for a ruptured specced rogue.

So, I finally got back into raiding after....oh, probably 3-4 months. My new guild has asked that I stick to combat for raiding, which suits me fine because my gear was leaning that way anyway. I had been Mutilate, but all my drops and badge items were really pushing me towards combat. As such, my gemming is a complete mess, so I'm in the process of fixing it. (My Combat-specific pieces have ArPen gems, I have some really old stuff, like the Footpads of Silence, gemmed for Agility from back in the 4/5 T8 days, and my neutral gear is still gemmed Expertise for my Mut spec.)
Now, I have a reasonable amount of ArPen on my gear, but not quite enough for the SS or iDPS to tell me to gem for it, however, I was planning to go ahead and gem my higher-quality pieces with ArPen in anticipation of rapid upgrades, and since the different between AP and ArPen gems was very marginal.
Last time I raided or looked at specs, Rupture had just been buffed to crit, and people were still unsure if speccing for Rupture and including it in your rotation was worthwhile. I saunter over to this topic (and the one on the official forums, and EJ pocket guide, like I always do to refresh after a break,) and it appears the general consensus has shifted towards using Rupture.
So, here I am, getting ready to start raiding, have a ton of gems ready to regem most of my gear. Having said the difference in DPS according to the sheet was minimal, I would assume that it would be even more if I was using a High Rupture rotation, would it not?
TL;DR - Is Rupture DEFINITELY a must for the rotation? Should I be gemming Agi or AP since Rupture ignores Armor?
Thanks in advance, I know I rambled, but I'm just trying to get my thoughts on the table.

Rupture is only worth using on tank and spank fights, so if you were to pick one build to last a whole ICC run, you would choose an Evis build.

P.S. Give armory.

Here's my armory.
I know my gemming is a total mess, like I said. I'm at work atm, and I'm fixing my gemming first thing when I get home, hence this post.
It may be worth noting that I have the lack-luster NES in my bags for ArP softcapping, but I have the Triumph Hit trinket equipped because without buffs my hit rating is a smidge short of spell cap.
Edit: love the sig btw, Liq. Just noticed it. =p
