Is horde seriously over-rated?

Point being? How does that make the Alliance any more realistic? It's just back to personal preference, like we've been saying all along.
Besides, while the Forsaken have created the Blight, and the Goblins Infragreen, what new technologies has the Alliance invented?
Nevermind that. We're just nit picking. Point is, most of us over here on the Horde feel that the Horde's mixed morality past and present feels more interesting and realistic than the Alliance's. That's just opinion. Refer to my long drawn up post at the top of the page for a full exlpanation of why I like the Horde.

I know, I read it. I'm just annoyed that almost everyone in the thread is Horde, so if I say that I like Alliance everybody starts shoving how much better the Horde is in my face.
Even at the my first post on this page: I dunno about this. Yes the Horde seems real to me, but so does the Alliance. The Alliance, while they aren't striving for the right to exist and whatnot, but they have the same values as me. Piety, Righteousness, Will, and Courage. They seem more real to me because they can show humanity in its better light.
I never said Horde didn't feel real, I just said that the Alliance feels more real to me, and that's my preference.
While the response is My thought on it, is that the alliance are what people want to pretend they can be, the whiter then white good guy knight types, superman/captain america types, without fault or impure thought, and near sighted to there own faults or believeing there incapable of such things, where as the horde has faults, and they make mistakes they have tried tried to fix, well still not pretending to be something there not. Its more a case of, what you pretend you can be, and what your actully are, and thats why the horde seems more genuine.
Where he basically said that Alliance are the holier than thou types and don't feel real at all, but the Horde
of course
feel real.
That's why I continue to argue. I keep saying the both feel real but the Alliance a bit more while the response has been that Alliance isn't real at all and the Horde must be the only one that can feel real.

Sorry, but on a thread made to purposefully downgrade the horde, and done in a way to make any opposed to them seem better, ie, the alliance, a horde fan has as much right to give his reasoning to say why his faction is the better after all. If the thread was named 'which faction is better' then their might be an argument against it.

A. I didn't make the thread, so why are you arguing against me?
B. He didn't make the thread to downgrade Horde, he made it to see why you guys like the Horde so much/ For the OP, the Horde isn't something epic, its just another faction.

You started on me first. I simply followed suit.

Tell that to someone who would support the Yankees that its just another team and nothing speical.

No I didn't. I agreed that Horde is a faction that feels real, but I said that the Alliance feels more real to me. Your responded aggressively saying the Alliance can't feel real at all and only the Horde can.

Again, he didn't make it to downgrade. Somebody who made a thread on why people liked the Yankees doesn't mean he's downgrading it, he's asking for their opinions. Besides, other people said that they like Alliance more, but you haven't called out them.
Geez, whenever I try to make a post about the Alliance, no matter what thread its in, some Horde lover has to come and argue with me, even if I hadn't argued with them before, or even made a post that could turn into an argument. And it all hinges on somebodies personal opinion about the Horde being better than the Alliance.
WAIT FOR ME TO HAVE A FREAKING OPINION THAT REQUIRED ARGUING BEFORE YOU START FREAKING ARGUING WITH ME.

That'll be enough of that. No need digging up old wounds.
But, I will say that I know my Horde bias shows very often. I honestly do try to keep it in check most of the time, and I think I can do pretty well with it. I mean, I do like the Alliance quite a lot. The Dwarves and the Humans in particular are the most interesting to me. The Dwarves because they're rather diverse in their beliefs and practices. If you look at most humans individually, it's a very different story for each. The individuals portray qualities that make them very human in nature, perhaps moreso than the other races because they are indeed human. This human quality in the individuals carries through all of the races, some to a greater extent than others.
When I look at the whole of the factions, I don't lose that sense of realism when translating from individuals with the Horde. I don't lose it completely with the Alliance, but it does seem romanticized to an extent more with the Alliance. More classical fantasy... somewhat Tolkienian. This isn't bad, but it just doesn't fit what I feel makes an epic story. It does make a great one, that's for sure. After all, the Alliance has some of my favorite characters, all of which have been rather Tolkienian in their make. Lothar, Turalyon, Tirion, Alleria, Kurdran, Muradin... all of them are some of my favorite characters.
With the Horde though, it just feels more visceral and real to me. It has an element of romanticism, but one that is not as prevalent as it is with the Alliance.

I´ve always personaly preferd the Allys caus of their more old school fantasy look. And i grew up with the fact that in 90% of the fantasies i have read/ watched/ heard of, the orcs ar usualy the bad guys.
And even so if WOW changes that, it just sticks into my thick skull :) even if i know they have changed.
I also read a thread on wow insider about
the horde politics
, wich showed a new prespectiv on how the horde may think, and the prespectiv of the members with in the horde.

Gonlin intelligence decay is a known fact, due to the loss of Kaja'mite.
But still... The argument was that the Alliance is getting new technologies, while the Horde isn't and that the Alliance is coming up with new religions, while the Horde isn't. Both of these things have proven to be untrue.
Aren't they rediscovering Kaja'mite in Cata?
Also, for a decaying intelligence, they're doing quite well for themselves. The Gnomes will eventually surpass them, but right now I'd say they're on even footing, with the Goblins losing ground.
No, they used up all the kaja'mite long ago.

Does their intelligence level still drop?

Well, supposedly. We won't really know how the loss of Kaja'mite is affecting the Goblins' intelligence until Cataclysm. It could take years upon years of decay to reduce them even a small level with their intelligence. Then again, it could take weeks to reduce them to babbling infants as far as intelligence goes.

Heh, they lost the Kaja'mite hundred of years ago... and they are still the insane creatures they have always been.

I always assumed it just peaked and then dropped to a lower level, but stopped dropping after a while. I mean, considering that the goblins searched for Kaja'mite for several thousands of years before finally giving up and starting to embrace commerce, it feels like any big reduction in intelligence would have been made apparent in that time.

Heh aye, I know that pain Funden.
Maybe due to the fact how most alliance fans want to generalize the horde as savage brutes and how only the alliance are the good guys in this. See, one does like to generalize, regardless of what side your playing.
