Wowhead client/looter uploading problems

Some troubleshooting info for you:
Windows 7, running Microsoft Security Essentials and not a whole lot else, it's a recent re-install.
Error: Same as xor7468 above, somewhere between 74% and 82% it would stop, percent would go to 0% and I'd get the "do you want to know how to fix it?" pop-up.
Tried: Variously, not running Firefox while uploading, doing a search and destroy on all Wowhead files on my compy and reinstalling, disabling real-time protection on Security Essentials, running program in compatibility mode for XP, running program as an administrator. I did notice that it was set to run in Vista compatibility mode initially, dunno why, I don't think I would have set that, but maybe I did at some point...
What worked: I noticed that the item file was MUCH larger than any of the other files (4,888KB vs. others in the 100-900KB range), so I deleted my item cache. Upload of ~85kb (compressed) worked like a charm. I think there's something still going on with file size and your server. Uploads were going quick for me (apparently), I was getting to ~80% in ~10seconds.
Hope that helps, it's a great program!

I'm still having problems to upload... I'm running Windows XP SP3.

I tried...
reinstalling WoWHead client
selecting some of files to upload (itemcache - 6879 KB)
cleaning WoW cache
uninstalling AVG, installing Avira (my husband can't upload too and he is using Avast)
disabling AntiVir Guard
calling my ISP
Am I missing something?

I fixed mine today by:
-Deleting the client exe
-Deleting the addon
-Deleting all files with 'wowhead' in them in my WTF folders
-Deleting WDB cache files
-Deleting everything in C:\ProgramData\Wowhead\Wowhead Client (on Win7, I don't know where this would be on WinXP)
-Re-downloading and reinstalling the client
Finally it started working again. I logged in an out a few times, collecting a little data, and re-uploading every time, and it seems to be working fine.
I noticed though that the client still kept my username and password and other settings stored. But where on the computer is this actually stored? I was looking for it thinking that something in it might be messed up and causing the problem.

I'm using Avira now... no change.

I'm not using Linkscanner.
The uploading problem seems to be on the Wowhead side, since it doesn't work even when firewall and anti-virus software are disabled.
And it always stops after exactly 15 seconds.

As far as the fix, we're investigating. We'll hit this thread back if we need more info to help us troubleshoot.

Can the people who are having trouble in this thread, particularly Thalur, Laivine, shippou, and Mikal, try uploading again and confirm in this thread when it's done?

Hey guys, I just published a new version of the Client (version 1.6.6). Could you please give it a try? It should fix the big itemcache.wdb bug.
