Notice how he doesn't answer the question. I undermine the authority of the laws if I drive while talking on my cell phone, but I don't get sent to jail for it.
You get a ticket.
Punishment.
You get punished for undermining the authorities.
And what do you mean I didn't answer the question. Undermining something is hurting it.
I bet he'd turn himself in to the police if he was accidently speeding.
Okay, really?
What does that have to do with anything?
And officer caught him.

Don't bother Hyper, I'm bored with you and from what I've read in your posts you're just a %^&*!@ that loves to stick to the rules and point fingers at anyone who doesn't.
My sincere apologies for my language, but I couldn't think of a better word.
Sticking to the rules is a bad thing now?
You get a ticket... exactly. Minor crime, minor punishment.
And who is the one that decided it was a minor crime? Not you. The government.
Who gets to decide if breaking a rule is a minor crime? The officers!

1) The officers don't determine the severity of the crime i.e. felony, misdemeanor, etc. That is the job of law makers. The officers enforce the laws regardless of its severity.
I think you're mixing up police officer and guild officer. That's true of the former, not the latter.
2) The one who
should
determine if OP's "crime" was minor or not is the guild leader.
Not all guilds work that way. In fact seeing as the officer had the authority to kick him, his guild didn't work that way either.
Like I said, we are saying the guild leaders lack judgment by treating this like a major offense.
That's not the issue I'm arguing, so stop trying to pull me that way. I'm arguing whether it was an offense at all.

I think you're mixing up police officer and guild officer. That's true of the former, not the latter.First off, no I'm not. Second, I'm just responding to your statement about police officers determining if an offense is minor or major. Nothing else.
My point exactly. I didn't say
police
officer. I said officer, by which I was referring to an officer in a guild.
What's your point?
That you don't have one.
OP SAID THERE WAS A RULE AGAINST PUGGING IN THE VERY FIRST POST. Who the hell are you arguing?
I'm arguing against this:
A guild *cannot* reasonably demand that a guild member ask permission before accepting an invitation to run through content that the guild is not engaged in.
this:
...the rule was unreasonable...
this:
Rule is stupid if it extends to OS.
And a couple other statements I can't be bothered to dig up at the moment.

None of them said the rule didn't exist
And what does that have to do with anything?
No one, not me not anyone, is arguing if the rule exists.
Why do you keep bringing it up?
So, again... who said he didn't break the rules?
No one. I'm arguing the legality of the rule. I keep saying that, and you just can't grasp that concept.
So for the last time: stop making my position into something that it's not.
My point and everyone else's point (if you haven't figured it out in these 11 pages) is that the rule is stupid.
Uh, no, I and plenty of people, think the rule is legitimate.

First of all. Quit with the goddamn insults, alright?
Now...
If a rule is illegitimate, it is not an offense to break it. If you tell me to send you a thousand bucks right now, is my ignoring of it an offense? No, because you don't have the authority to do so.
Likewise, in a guild. If they don't have the authority to make a rule, then it is not an offense to ignore it.

So a guy got gkicked for pugging when his guild's rules clearly stated you shouldn't pug. Lets do 15 more pages of this debate before calling it.
I can't seem to get through to them.
I'm at as much of a loss as you.

No one is debating that.
Why don't you not make claims about other people's arguments...
