Do you judge M playing F Characters?

Well, as a roleplayer I judge people who want to roleplay males and keep the !@#$ies. However, if your willing to go out on a limb and try and get your head into the body of the opposite sex and actually play it well, good on ye.

Female Night Elf Druid because the males look crappy, but it really wouldn't have mattered as it's a Boomkin so... yeah.
Female Draenei x6 because again... the male models look crappy.
Human Female Rogue.... problem with the male models.
Dwarf male hunter; hey look, more model problems, only with the females this time.
Gnome Warlock Female... because slaughtering and murdering people in PVP while in Demon form then giggling like a little kid = win!
Troll male Death Knight, because Trolls are just that good.
Pair of BE fems... because there are no male BE's.
Male Orc shaman and warrior because of the way they look in the armour sets.
No undead, as I dislike the Forsaken.
Tauren Druid, male, but always in form so gender doesn't matter.

Especially this quest eh?

I really don't care what someone plays, and you shouldn't care if anyone else does.
I have one male guildie who only plays female toons. I have another male guildie who only plays male toons. I'm female and have both. Most of us have both. None of us care. I'm not surprised to hear a male voice on vent from a female toon, nor am I surprised to hear a female voice from a male one. It's a bit of a silly thing to be concerned with. I'd really rather focus on downing the boss.

I have two 80's, one female nelf because come one... male nelfs? Sheesh... and one male tauren, cuz, well, better a bull than a cow. Really. You ever seen a fierce cow? No. Thought so. Then the other chars I have spiraling down are both sexes as well.

When I first started, I picked one toon that was what I wanted to represent in game. Male human paladin. As I played more I just picked toons and classes that would be fun. female gnome warrior for example. I dont judge anyone on what class spec race sex they are. Its a game. I'm not trying to find a date. I guess i just seperate the player from the toon

Everyone assumes I'm a guy even though I'm a girl and play a girl in-game. I don't think real life gender plays too much of a role in how you're treated in WoW. You're either treated with respect or someone treats you like crap in this game. Gender doesn't factor in too much, in my opinion.

No, I've seen some definite increase in disrespect by some players, if they suddenly find out that a female character really IS female.
But then, this is a male-dominated game.
I work in a female dominated work environment, and I see a similar situation in reverse, in some ways.
It's not all people of a given sex, doing it to all people of the opposite sex. But, it is noticable.

We are talking about a toon, a computer assigned image.
I make no judgements at all about the gender of a player based on thier choice of toon, except to ask, if you are going to look at the backside of a toon for multiple hours at a time, what do you want to look at?

I've not seen any disrespect increases when someone finds out I actually am a girl. That's just me, but then again I'm not very sociable in-game. I do quests and mind my own business. Now, if we're talking real life, then yes, I do get treated quite differently because I have a #$%^&*.

I play 2 female characters a Female Dranei priest and a Female NE druid. Why do I do this. Male Dranei is kinda not fun to look at and NE males forget that they are so disproportional that I can't stand it they look like the steroids didn't make it below the waist.

I'm male. My ten characters are as follows:
Male Tauren Druid
Male Tauren Warrior
Male Orc Death Knight
Male Orc Hunter
Male Orc Rogue
Male Belf Paladin
Male Belf Priest
Female Belf Mage
Female Belf Warlock
Female Tauren Shaman
My first charater was my Druid so I rolled my gender. The rest of them are just which one I think will look better as the class, and I apparently prefer to roll male for the non-caster classes (excepting Druid and Priest). Never really thought about it like that until now though...

No. I play both; for me, it's about casting/combat animations then variety. Like female Forsaken's front flips are cool as well as their unarmed animations, it's too bad there probably won't be something like a monk class to take advantage of that.

I judge M playing F characters as often as I judge humans playing elf/tauren/etc characters.
I also often wonder why having a character that is a different race than your own in real life is not looked at as weird, but a different sex is.
If a male in real life playing a female in-game in a RPG is strange, so is a human in real life playing an elf in a rpg.
