What's the typical problem with Shadow Priest DPSers?

Everything except LK isn't much? (It was impossible for him to have seen my Draenei before it was brought up. It isn't claimed on my profile now. Just FYI.)
You also haven't killed Sindragosa or Dreamwalker.
It is quite possible to have seen your Draenei before it was brought up. After all the wowhead profile isn't the only way to look up a character. When I first read this topic I just checked the armory and found your Draenei there - before it was linked in your profile.
Additionally pretty much all of the achievements are in 10man, there is hardly anything in 25man and as you probably know 25man raiding is quite different and usually also quite a bit harder. I'd go as far and say that quite a bit of advice that is very good and right for a strict 10man raider might be very wrong in a 25man environment.
Tbh the achievement list of an average ICC pugging Priest on my server looks pretty much like yours. You certainly are an experienced player and you generally do know what you are talking about (except when you happen disagree with me of course :P ) but the achievement list hardly screams "There just
must
be something to what he says, how else would he get all this awesome progress!"
Which, as I said, doesn't matter that much anyway. In the end most of WoW is math and raiding experience helps to reduce mistakes in the calculations but won't make statements true or false.
But let's not turn this into a personal flamefest again. After all we finally found something to agree on ;) Shadow Priests are awesome. Actually I just recently "discovered" my shadow spec after I almost benched my Priest because I hated healing as holy. With all the fun I'm having as shadow I think the Priest will completely replace my Shaman (which so far has been my favorite alt).

(PS: I think you'll find I have done Dreamwalker, and not downing Sindragosa =/= not experiencing Sindragosa)
It seems wowhead doesn't track partial achievements. It didn't show Dreamwalker in your profile here but the armory indeed says that Dreamwalker got rescued.

All my achievements were done at-top-tier, not out-geared like some random pug priest.
This is one of the things I dislike about achievements. The one achievement I'm most proud of is my Siege of Ulduar one. I was a member of the ONLY raid on my server to kill ignis pre-nerf that wasn't OS3D.
The problem is that there is no recognition of being on "the leading edge" with non-contemporary achievements.
Anyone can get old raiding achievements, but one must determine the date to get any meaning from them.

That's why I really like achievements that have gear requirements. Herald of the Titans and Tribute to Dedicated Insanity for example are two achievements that you will usually find only on very skilled players and the date doesn't really matter for those.

Wow this thread lives on, I'm amazed.
Also, Sinespe, yes, I did see your goat priest before hand, armory = hard.
I don't want to say 10 man progress isn't GOOD, but as volt said, 10 man doesn't hold a candle to 25 man. You can pound your fists on the desk and make some "leave now" comments all you want, it doesn't change the facts. You raged out because I called a disc priest wrong about shadow priest advice. I don't give mage advice, you don't give warlock advice, volt doesn't give advice on growing watermelon. And he was wrong, which is fine for a primarily disc priest.
I hate to say this, but until you have 25M TLK down, you haven't done ICC yet. No fight in that instance compares to that one, and TLK seperates the goods and the bads.
Your E-lebrity status on these forums doesn't mean anything to those of us that actually progress. You know your stuff, of that I have no doubt, but you should stop trying to argue with those that simply surpass you.
PS: Now that I've cleaned that out, I'm done with this thread again.
Feel free to rage blindly at these comments. It'll be therapeutic.

I don't want to say 10 man progress isn't GOOD, but as volt said, 10 man doesn't hold a candle to 25 man.Absolutely agree. As long as you're discussing raiders in 25-man gear, you're totally right. Otherwise, I believe your edicts about discussing things of which you have no knowledge apply.
I hate to say this, but until you have 25M TLK down, you haven't done ICC yet. No fight in that instance compares to that one, and TLK seperates the goods and the bads.Agree with the last statement for sure. But so does Putricide, so does Sindy. Those fights will not be puggable by the four-boss crowd for months at least. LK is certainly a good deal trickier than even those fights, but your point is basically about YOU, not about the fights, is it not?
I love people who believe that killing a boss makes them better than others. It's a
25-man
raid you're talking about. It means the majority of that group is good. It says
nothing
about any single person. You can certainly be mediocre and get an achievement, even LK25. I'm not saying you're being carried, but who's to say you're not? You can't be carried in 10-man, by the way.
Being a part of a 25-man group who kills X boss does not make you any more knowledgeable about class mechanics. It just doesn't. It might make you more familiar with specific
encounter
mechanics, but that's not very interesting. If this isn't obvious, it's probably due to the large pink e-appendage blocking your view of reality.
you should stop trying to argue with those that simply surpass you. This really goes into territory no one belongs in. But it is fun to read people who believe things like this.
Feel free to rage blindly at these comments. It'll be therapeutic.Supremely confident, are we? Because no argument with you could be anything other than blind rage. We bow. Deeply.

How did you two miss this steaming pile of bullcrap?
I dont even know where to start with the problems. The fact Sinespe the Goat has dual spec shadow/disc (not shown on wowhead negating armoury claims)? The fact the disco spec is clearly a PvP one, making the PvP gear he's in not welfare, but valid choices? The fact that one can know about more than one spec? Im dualspecced on my warlock for fights where affli cant roll properly, does that mean Ive never played meta/ruin?
I mean, seriously fail logic displayed by our "wonderful, glorious idol".

Sinespe I chose you because of your stickies.
Oscar was used a means.
You got TROLT. Hard. Everyone who defended you got it to. HARD. It was all in fun. While I still say that everything I said was right, I did it rudely in order to get a rise out of a "respected" priest community member. I've had my fun with it, and now that others have come in to /popcorn, I've proved my point!
No hard feelings, right buddy?
(If you don't believe me, check my other posts. Constructive, well worded, and not rude. I was just bored here.)
