I know what the Rape of Nan
k
jing was, but does it help my point at all if the person I'm debating does not?
Had to fix it.I was merely using the same anglicanization an he... :P
Really, there is no "correct" spelling, as both terms are based on the sound of chinese characters.

This
is a quest I do not like doing. Although I'm working on my loremasters, means I need to, otherwise I wouldn't. It made it sader when you read the journal the kirin tor mage holds that she was falling in love with one of the forsaken prisoners, showing they can be redeemed.
I really do dislike the forsaken more then like them.

If not, just because she fell for the corpse, doesn't mean the corpse felt the same. Only time you ever see a Forsaken show emotion is to other Forsaken, they look down on the living after all.

And yeah, I didn't like doing that quest either.
But my Blood Elf is a ^&*!. I kind of expect it from him... :P (Spent an hour last night killing Dryaads for my Etched Phial... :P)

And as for evil quests, its like Adams said. Look for most under Undercity's category.
Other evil quests:
Sourse of the Corruption
,
Landing the Killing Blow
,
Little Morsels
,
Jin'Zil's Forest Magic
,
Defiling Uther's Tomb
,
Sigil of Trollbane
,
True Masters of the Light
,
I find it funny that you link ONLY horde quests, and refuse to link alliance quests as if they had no evil quests at all, when they do, boy-o-boy they do.
I can understand that you link uther's tomb and true masters of the light as evil quests, because they are. but.........
why the heck are you saying that landing the killing blow is evil? o_O that quest has you killing alliance oficers, and taht's evil.... why?
this is a WAR, in war soldiers fight so that civilians don't have to, a quest that asks you to kill civilians is evil, a quest that asks you to kill soldiers isnt'.
besides the alliance has not 1 but 10 quests in grizzly hills that asks you to kill conquest hold's soldiers, why you don't link those as evil? one of these quests even asks you to kill an orc sargent and skin him alive.
of course, that's not evil to you, because it was ordered by an alliance officer.

Then it's not an 'Alliance' quest, it's a manipulation at the hands of the Wulfcult(merely saying).

Aye... but if you go by that, you can blame the Horde for the Amani heh. Not saying it's not an evil quest(I remember it now, and as you kill the Orc he tries to explain why he's doing it), but there are other ones where you do the work of the Scourge for them heh; the final quest for Old Naxx after all.

Hee, to me, it just looks like your trying to whitewash something here.
This is why I gave up finding anything intresting about the alliance, because they are so much like characters from a 1980s cartoon series. At least the horde can be good and bad, making them seem more real.

Not trying to whitewash anything; merely saying, at that point in the quest line, as far as you(an Alliance player) know is that a group of Orcs is attacking a Human settlement, so your attempting to safe them from it. In the quest right after you find out the truth and have to stop the Wulfcult from then on.
Would it be any different if it was a group of Alliance forces attacking a Horde town because there was a threat in it that was attempting to take things over? Of course not, but that's how it is in game; not everyone has the same information about everything else.
I admit it, it would be nice if the Alliance did have a group within it such as the Forsaken, and I want a darker aspect added in.... but one without the genocide for all living things would be nice.

rumor has it the worgen will be just that.
and the whole reason I mentioned this, is because darkton only linked horde quests, as if the alliance had no evil quest at all, and then proceeded to link this quest "landing the killing blow" as if it was evil.
I said that quest isn't evil, it's a war after all, it's no more evil than the alliance quest asking you to kill horde soldiers in all of northrend (and there's quite a few) taht darkton didnt' mentioned because from his narrow POV; if the alliance did it it's not evil, if the horde does teh same, they are evil to the core.

Well, I think there is a reasonable margin for complaining. The Horde do have a lot more "evil" quests than the Alliance it seems.

Rankorr your a horde fan boy, stop complaining.
But i understand that, because im an alliance fanboy.
as a side note, i will be frusturated if the worgen are totally evil, i will be &*!@ED. we should still discuss however the possibility of your character being able to possess an alignment, do you guys think this could work?
RP-wise you can; as someone posted in the thread; you get to pick and choose what quests you do so if you dislike the poisoning ones, you can get be objective to it and refuse to darken yourself.
But actually having something in-game would be too much like KotOR or Fable... and WoW doesn't need that.

and now I'm extremely dissapointed. I expected name-calling from darkton, not from you.
I believed you were above name-calling............ I was wrong it seems.
