Bush ruined the economy.
Wrong. The democrats did. They enacted the legislation that forced banks to give bad loans to people who had no chance to pay them back. They also made it easy for those people to get those loans and tried to get them all in a home. They also started the zero-down financing, 100% financing, and the ARMS plans. When the foreclosures started the banks lost all that money, couldn't give loans anymore and the thing turned into a disaster. The dems were solely responsible for that. Unless you blame 9/11 on Bush? When Bush went into Iraq it was a popular opinion that most people supported. The only real opposition was France who had billions invested in contracts that they didn't want to lose.
I could statistically demonstrate that contraception and abortion caused the latest economic plummets. The fact is, many people have screwed our economy over; Republicans had a hand, democrats had a hand. When all is said and done, the fact remains...we're screwed at the moment. If people would stop pointing fingers and try to do something new, we might have a fighting chance.

I laugh out loud at anyone who thinks Bush was a 'good' president.
As a good sheep would. I bet you cannot give factual basis as to why though. Nope, MSNBC and the koolaid liberal machine tell you to so you do. /sigh
Canadian, as I said before dipstick. He pretty much copied his daddy's term in office. So yeah, I ain't a sheep, I just have open eyes unlike you. Bush was a moron(literally) who's only ultimate enemy was the pretzel that almost killed him. Beyond that, Iraq never needed to happen, and neither did any of the other 'changes' he instituted. And before you say something about 9/11: He only did what all presidents would have done; call for a strike back against the people who attacked..... which his own country helped to set up.

Ok..if your a Family Guy fan, you've probably seen the episode extra large medium.
Heres the Palin (daughter)
response
to the episode:
and here's the
response
of Andrea Fay Friedman, the actress who did the voice (she also has down syndrome)
I lmao when I read Friedman's response. I also didn't find the episode to be offensive to mentally disabled people, in fact if anything they (especially for family guy) went to great efforts to make Friedmans character seem 100% normal. I think Palin got pwned.
I think you are a dumb@#$%.

both the show and the politician are gaining something from the situation: media attention. that's it, there is no "content of the discussion" or something. palin is happy to have a reason to be in the news, and so are the creators of family guy. everyone who actually discusses the morale of this is completely missing the point.
Wat?
I think everyone knows that Palin is trying to use this to benefit her.
No she is not. She is merely doing what any other mother would have done when someone does something as insulting and offensive as Family Guy did. Stop being so stupid yourself.

Let's try to keep this a
friendly
debate, hm? You know, the kinds of debates where people attack the subject rather than the posters?

No, actually I think Haggers is right, I was totally anti-Palin on this debate but I hadn't thought about it from this angle, both are getting attention, it will further endear Family Guy fans to the show, and Palin supporters to Palin, and words are... Well... Kind of a whoop-dee-friggin-doo, thing. It will be forgotten, Kind of a win/win situation for both sides.

Then Newt will slide right in and hopefully....one can hope anyways, that he can fix the mess Obama is leaving us with. No one will be able to fix the debt but at least he will put us right back on track.
America's national debt when Bush left office was $10 trillion, IIRC. America's national debt right now is $12 trillion, IIRC. Based on these values, I think it's safe to say that Bush left Obama with the impossible-to-fix mess.
it was 5.727 trillion when Bush entered office. 8 years later it was at 10.2 trillion. That's ~4.5 trillion in 8 years. Bad.
It was 10.2 trillion when Obama entered office. 2 years later it's at 12.2 trillion. That's 2 trillion in 2 years. Worse.

Technically speaking, yes.
But we're Canadians; do we really care about anything below our belt?
Eh, least Clinton had better relations with the Canadians heh... thought, that might have been due to the women lol.
