"I agree that a full scale invasion of Silvermoon is not necessary if that be what ye're proposin'. But, ye'd be mistaken if ye thought that I had the whole of the Alliance behind me in Alterac. The search for Titan relics is a Dwarven matter, that I don't disagree with, but what you've failed to understand is the amount o' volunteers that we've taken.
The forces that keep command over me bunkers and garrisons are my own. Even Captain Stonehearth and Archdruid Renferal were volunteers at first, but then asked to be reassigned to me command. The volunteers we employ are footsoldiers, it be nothin' more than that.
A small effort by the whole o' the Alliance is not necessary. I'm sure there be many willing to take up the cause o' the High Elves, if they were merely asked to do so!"
Vanndar grumbled. "War in the Eversong woods is what we will likely face no matter what we choose to do, but askin' the Alliance to support it isn't somethin' I would do until the Blood Elves prove that they indeed be our enemies...
all
o' our enemies."

"Aye, but saving 'em from 'emselves is nothing that an army need do. As a follower o' the Light, I would send missionaries and supply caravans with ample guard to protect them, not a bloody army!"
Vanndar mumbled angrily, "And ye be mistaken about Stonehearth's volunteering. Before her Captainship, she was under the command of General Marcus Johnathan, and I have her reassignment documents in me study at Dun Baldar, signed in duplicate by General Johnathan himself. They clearly state that she asked to be reassigned. Were either o' them here, they would confirm the statement."
"But, Master Atelrith, that might not have been a part of yer vast knowledge, so I'll be forgivin' that ye just called me a liar."

"The Stormwind government is just as corrupt as the Silvermoon Government. What makes you think a diplomatic solution is the way forward? I say we forget about them and deal with them if they should ever arise again"

"I have said this before. Some of youm ay have missed it. I proposed we close off the road from Ghostlands to Plaguelands, confining them to their own part of land. If they decide to attack, then we can prepare."

"though the problem with that would be the undead scourge that still roam the plaugelands." she said. "We haven't entirely gotten them under control and they would make it very difficult to watch the blood elves."

"If Stormwind sent Captain Stonehearth, then it was done so without my knowledge, and without any indication. It isn't my damned fault if it was so. Even still, all of the other troops that I've fielded in Alterac, not counting me own men have been volunteers. That I know ye can't contest."
He sighed, tired of all this bickering. "If we do plan to place an Alliance government in Silvermoon, it would have to be one without corruption, a military command. That deems it a show of force. Such an incursion would lead to rebellion and war."

'Sorry, Genn, but I don't think we can trust them enough to leave them to their own devices.'

"If we do place an alliance government in silvermoon we should put a High Elf in charge. We could make up fake records and proof that he or she is a legitimate member of the former Sunstrider dynasty and has a right to rule." she said.

"Aw but it does not have to be a son or daughter that is even related to him. We could find one who was the son or daughter of a member further down the line which would give him no links to kael'thas."

"Still, the Sunstrider Dynasty is full o' bad memories for both the Alliance and the Blood Elves. Such a figurehead would be deposed in weeks, and we'd have a rebellion on our hands."

Genn held back a laugh at Bjars comment. "Well, what if we send Jaina to them. She seems to....'Have her way' when it comes to horde negotiations. Now that the Blood Elves are no longer in the Horde, it should be considerably easier."

"Well, Stouteye, if I don't say it and we enter into this without thinking of it, then we'll be settin ourselves up for a calamity. Rebellion is a likely prospect when talkin' about military occupation of an enemy state."

Vanndar sat in thought, an idea brewing in his mind. "What about Arator? He's in high standing with both the High Elves and I'm sure he'd be in high standing with the Blood Knights."
