I don't set out to be mean on purpose. It's a waste of mine and my 'victim's' time.
Sometimes though...
I think the meanest thing I ever did was the other day in Sholazar. I'm on my (crappy geared, half-arsed-BM specced) hunter, farming clouds for eternal fire. She's an engineer/enchanter, so all those titanium nodes I passed were mourned :( Anyway, I'd seen a PvP flagged dwarf paladin flying around and he happened to show up near me while I was headed for a cloud. A cloud that had spawned near a rich saronite node.
Assuming I was going for the saronite he dismounted and forgot to bubble (or it was on cd, w/e). Took off most of this health from the long fall. I lol'd IRL and, even though I couldn't even mine the node, I dismounted (I was closer to the ground than him anyway) and proceeded to shoot the crap out of him while he tried desperately to mine. I sucked up that cloud in front of his corpse, mounted up, and flew off.
A bit later I'd stopped to suck up a cloud next to a titanium node (/cry) when I saw him coming in for a landing. He was at about 50% health and stopped when he saw me. I stood on the node and /waved at him. He didn't move. There's no way I can kill a paladin confident enough to go around flagged, but he obviously didn't know that. We must have sat staring at each other for a good 2 minutes before an orc warrior came along and asked me if I was gonna mine the node or just look at it. Needless to say, that orc got himself some titanium :)
I guess I have an issue with people racing me to nodes...something about it just irritates the crap out of me.

Or /e has reported you afk. Please type /afk to resolve these issues in a BG.
That's not mean, just plain annoying.
With hunter, sometimes i did the "lvl 1 pet bait" in starter zones. Go in a opposite faction starter zone, tame a lvl 1 boar (or wolf or whatever), turn pvp on, eye of the beast to fake a AI controlled mob, wait for newb trying to kill that strange boar, profit. Too bad now tamed pet get leveled to your lvl -5.
Made me smile, evil genius!

When I'm bored on my shaman I go TS mobs in heroics away from the tank.
haha that is so annoying. I have a boomkin friend who always does that, i dont know how he always times it so perfectly, every time i line up mobs for a shockwave just before i shockwave he throws away all mobs.
I guess we played way to many times together, but he manages to intentionally screw up everything i try to do if he puts his mind to it. Corner pull? He aggroes the caster and messes up my pull. I charge a caster, shieldbash to silence to drag it back to another caster mob? he warstomps the silenced mob thats following me or aggroes another mob and run away so i have to chase through the entire dungeon.
And i cant retaliate when he is feral and tanks either, the only thing i can do is to pop sweeping strikes and bladestorm, pull aggro and get myself killed.

some noob rogue thought he out could dps me so i used tricks of the trade on him pulled loads of mobs then they all killed him :D
He beat me to the punch. I love messing with tricks of the trade. There was a loud obnoxious mage in an Onyxia 25 with me once, and another rogue and I both hit him with tricks and then spammed fan of knives on like 50 whelps. The mage didn't last long.
Another thing I loved doing at lower levels (like 50-70) was follow people through long quests through caves or castles with my sub rogue, let them do all the work, and then sneak past them at the very end to kill the main guy or take whatever needs to be looted. Then I'd wave at them, vanish, and sprint out. They'd have to sit there and wait for respawns. Saves alot of money on potions and bandages.

Some little Ironforge gold-beggar had the bright idea to ask me where I got
Speedy
, so I told him it was a really rare drop off the
turtles
in the Hinterlands, like, rarest NC pet in the game! Just keep grinding :) They actually came back on the character and complained about the run to the turtles, and I laughed pretty hard.
Had he been an actual noob who didn't know any better than to ask for gold, I would have just told him. But several people had told him how begging was impolite, plus he had a bunch of BoEs and stuff and was just begging for beggings sake, so a trip to the coast he got.
I've probably done meaner things I just can't recall, but that was one of the few I remember actually being fallen for :)

Ok lets see.
I once corpse camped an alliance player (lv65) attacking grom'gol base camp for 30 minutes, where he kept ressing before his pvp went off and running away.
Once a gold begger asked me for 10 gold, so I told him he would have to strip for me in public. When he'd taken off all his armor I said he'd not get the gold cause he didn't take off the loincloth.
I once agroed the felreaver to the draenei town in hellfire with my rogue, causing him to agro the guards and then vanish. It ended up killing several lv60 players too who thought they'd have a go.
I also once needed on an axe from halls of lightning on my dk that a warrior had been after for months, and I only knew about a week before. I felt bad afterwards though.

I used to adopt lowbies of the opposite alliance and follow them around, being sure to remove any npcs they wanted to interact with.

Oohhh totally forgot this one.
Was some weeks after Wotlk came out.
I was on my mage, questing in sholazar, when i saw Loque whatisname. I approached him only to see him running toward a blood elf hunter, that was going to tame him.
Yes.
I did it.
Never felt so evil like that day. And yes, i have myself a hunter.
Now THAT is evil. And yet I'm grinning ear to ear :)
Keep the stories coming, I haven't laughed so hard in a while. I'm still trying to remember if I do anything else particularly bad other than stalking the stupids on the neutral AH, can't come up with anything so far.
You make me wanna do the stalk neutral AH thing. I'm just hated with all the Goblins :S
Make a level 1 alt and ship them money. You want to do this anyway, you do NOT want to do it on a character you plan on ever having invited into a group, and you do NOT want to do this on a character in a guild unless they have the same sense of humor that you have (that or the same idea that it's fun to get easy profit off stupid people). You might not get in trouble with a mod for it but it's a decent way to get kicked from a guild sometimes.
