i decided to based my comment on roles because my class changes came out way too long.
Healers - I think they need to get rid of the niched healer situation we had in wotlk. certain classes/specs were just way too good at either MT healing or Raid healing that it became the standard. Palys need more utility then just spamming casted heals. priest i think are fun...they have hots/shields/normal,fast,strong,aoe heals/buffs honestly i think the way priest are designed overall is great. their idea on making it more fun and more based on mana management is a good step in the right direction.
DPS - i think dps should be more reactive then just spam a rotation. Honestly i think that's kind of boring and i'm sure alot of people feel that way. Not so much a fish for procs like arcane mages do now. But maybe more like an arms war. Atm it's just too boring and easy to dps. Tanks and healers seem to have it hardest in raids while dps don't really have to pay attention. yes there are fights where a mistake could cause a wipe...but more often then not if a tank or healer messes up the raid wipes and dps just stand there and spam buttons...move...spam buttons. there's no reactiveness to it at all.
Tanking - I think their headed in the right direction for tanking. Increasing health pools and getting away from full health to 10% health in 1 hit is a good idea. Tanking is hard as it is. If you have a bad group/guild it's not fun at all. if your in a good guild it can be boring. holding agro shouldn't be ridiculously easy but not ridicuously hard like pre-bc. even though it made things interesting. Making Tanking more reactive would make the job harder due to the fact you already need to be paying attention and hitting your CDs at the right time so you don't die, picking up adds before they kill the raid, moving out of crap on the ground, holding agro, and kicking the cat off your desk...oh wait that's just me.
Also to the person that stated going away from mana and more to energy/rage/runic power...have you ever played warhammer online? yeah i don't think wow wants to go that route. resource management is something they want you to deal with. Not a unlimited supply of energy to spam any button you want at anytime. believe me it's boring and imagine a AV where the healers on both sides never ran out of mana and could spam heals to the point you couldn't kill anyone wearing pvp gear.
