but mainly for warlock as I have a hard time thinking that tamed wolf would stick to the plan rather then do the Jenkin style.

... armor doesn't do **** against the aoe bosses throw around. You avoid it. Get out of bad stuff on the floor, don't stand in front of a boss, and don't overaggro.
O and surviving as a rogue or kitty is easier than, say, a dk. Rogues pop vanish or evasion. Kitties shift to bear form which give them a huge hp boost. The only thing dk's have is their blood presence and deathstrike.
Edit: come to think of it, there isn't really any aoe in ICC where the melee is at a disadvantage compared to ranged. Marrowgar has a huge hit box, so melee can spread out for coldfire, Deathwhisper's D&D is just as annoying to ranged as it is for melee, on rotface ranged are in melee range anyways, in the blood prince fight, everyone has to run for vortex, and run towards the fire orb, ...

If hunters are entirely mobile while shooting, but auto-shot is limitted, it would make them more mobile but still require frequent stops for full DPS. However they may be too mobile in PvP as a result. But one highly mobile ranged class isn't a bad thing, especially when hunters are not casters - but ranged (and as such I belive should behave differently).
Mihai lung, most of what I'm saying isn't actually about giving X class the ability of Y class. The DK suggestion was more based on the severe loss of DPS when you break up an unholy-frost pair. The druid suggestion based on the fact that bears are basically warriors and don't get much benefit from other druid abilities - with a huge penalty for switching to make it worth it. The hunter suggestion has nothing to do with the class itself, but rather a UI mechanic. The mage change was more about making other elements viable. There are no holy caster DPS, so the smite priest would be a new thing to bring instead of rehomogonization. The rogue suggestion was to fix a spell that's been problematic in every patch I've read. The shaman suggestion was regarding how totems are generally used as "raid buff unless X" where they should be more "X" and just provide the raid buff to appeal to the rest of the raid. The warlock change is something Bliz is doing already, and

most locks agree with is an outdated and annoying system. The warrior change is regarding a warrior (and bear) mechanic which makes their classes scale in odd ways.
Only change I suggested that is even close to your complaint is the pally change.

i know what will make rogues more fun!
1.Add enrage effect to S&D
2. Let them use plate and mail
3.2 handed axes, 2 handed swords, polearms, staffs
4.Give them an intercept like ability and of course cleave , and maybe something like heroic strike
5.Add a protection tree
6.Remove stealth and vanish
