correct and even less tactful than me. fantastic.
(edit, also the fact that you just called it the "meta tree" is probably quite telling.)

Yeah, hybrids like the demo/meta build used by
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Tarren+Mill&cn=Buzzkill
for lock tanking Crimson Hall should beignored, yeah?
definitely.

oh lol, he meant the demo build? since the destro one is the only non-standard spec i thought he meant that
that
was a hybrid.
demo build is basically standard. he's losing DP uptime to provide healthstones which i would call a mistake but to call that a princes tanking build is pretty ignorant, though chucklesome. the destro build is quite poor. he does seem to favour utility over dps so if your raid feels that the utility out-weighs the potential dps then that's the decision to make i suppose.
on a side note, anyone who makes a special build for tanking keleseth fails. demo probably makes it a bit easier but you could not only do it but get the achievement with any build.

it was significantly more difficult than doing the fight normally with the standard Sarth tanking build DK.
there's truth to that. i tanked it on my DK back then and the cooldowns made it much easier.
VW tanking basically took some pressure off healers (disc priests no longer had to chain pain suppression etc.) but the positioning of the VW was actually pretty difficult and a lot of warlocks who were told this was the easy way to get the hard mode done had a rude awakening when they donned their PvP gear and tried it.

just a tip, quoting a build used by someone in ensidia or other "pro" guilds doesn't prove anything. in my eyes at least it weakens everything you're trying to say and will usually make me go out of my way to disprove your idea since you've clearly given up trying to prove your point in a reasoned, methodical way.
the words "EJ says" works similarly. people mis-quote and misunderstand all the time and posters should strive to understand things themselves if they want to discuss them not look for precedence from EJ, ensidia or elsewhere.
