Hehe, this brings back memories of when my Dad binned the power cable & controllers of my family's playstation about 6 months before GCSE's in 2003. I kicked up a huge fuss then, to no avail, still looking back on it now I'm glad he did as I got decent results in the end.
I would just remember your parents are of a different generation & mindset to yourself. If they have strong beliefs about it, you're unlikely to change their mind through any means! Personally I'd take good relations with my family over lost online time any day (hence a 3 month WoW break last summer when I stayed with my parents between Uni terms!).

Take something away from them and hide it really good unless they remove your PC restriction, what else can they do?

you messed up when you engaged them in a hysterical manner. You need to talk to them like an adult. be respectfull. flying off the handle will not get you anywhere you want to go. show them the benifits of you playing wow it keeps you off the streets and out of trouble.

Tell them you need the computer for work. Tell them they do not have the right to stop you from engaging in something which is less medically dangerous than what most teenagers engage in. You could also go out on the pull, bring
loads
of girls back and made
loads
of noise (You know what type I mean) Or bring drugs/fake drugs home and tell them that you are doing what they wanted you to do anyway.
They don't have the right? They're the freakin parents, outside of abuse and neglect they can do whatever they want.To be honest, "high school" Is - to my understanding,
around
15-18. Generally, teenagers at this age are mature enough to make their own decisions about what else they do outside of academic achievements. Out of the options, would you rather your kid play a game sometimes or go out and get *!@#ed, high and have a quick shag every weekend? I'm sure the game has far less repercussions.
If the parents are not making an informed or fair decision, the child surely has a right to dispute that decision. Of course, I mean dispute in a civil environment and come to some sort of compromise if no one will bow completely to the other one's conditions.

Did u pay for computer and Interent service? If you did then your parents no right to go and lock up your computer and suspend ur Interent service. They are doing that tell them it is an invasion of prvacy and if they don't stop it then you will let your school teacher know. Heck I beleive in I paid for it, I do what I want. But then again I have my own job, pay rent and pay for everything I own so yea.
Please .. Don't go there..
He has a roof over his head. Enough said...

hack it. I could find a way to get in for you and then you could play wow all you want. and when you say your computer did you pay for it with money you saved up IF yes to that then when you hack it change the password to somethign they would never be able to get into.
Or if you want easier make them pay Start bringing in Ds on the report card drop off the Rugby team sit in your room watching tv only come out to eat and drink and bathroom breaks completely ignore your parents make them feel like they are &*!@. Its according to how your parrents are to how this works they would take you to a psyciatist which you can tell them what your parrents did to you and they will say your parents are wrong IF that is key word you did nothing wrong IF you still bring home Bs like you use to and IF you still do all your chores then they definatly %^&*ed up somewhere. or your parents will give in. Friend did this parents gave him his PC back in a week.
And why do I right this out because when I was in 8th grade I was very bad at history I mean really bad D- if that every semester from 6th through 8th grade well my Parents made a deal with me that if I could bring home a 100 I would get back my Playstation. well I did and they still didn't give back my old playstation so by the next semester I had a 22 and kept a 22 in that class for 3 semesters my parents were so mad I thought they would turn blue when they sent me to the guidence cousiler I told him what my parents did he sent a note home saying that it was my parents fault for giving me a promise and breaking it. I brought that grade back up when I got back my Playstation and actualy made a c- parents never took my Playstation away again. and I never droped below a C again.
Do you also scream and cry till you have your way at the grocery store? To the OP, dont listen to this kid.

Kid's parents probably just need to stop watching alarmist news articles about how playing video games will make a kid a suicidal/homocidal maniac who worships demons and believes he's a vampire or some crap. Or maybe just not get anywhere in life. Either way.
