Mut isn't doing too bad anymore, but I will say, I was discouraged to see a SV hunter in 232s beating me in my combat spec with all 245-264s, and had to switch to mut to catch him on single target. He was pulling 7,000-7500 in 232s! Was only pulling 6500-6800 as combat and when I switched to Mut, was barely pulling ahead of him. He was using a 232 bow too. Something is wrong with that.
Perhaps it was raid comp, as it was a 10 man and could have been missing some things, but I out geared everyone subtantially in that raid and was 3rd in dps as combat, and tied for first as Mut with the SV hunter.
We didn't get to Deathbringer, I am sure my dps would go up with that, but, reguardless, if the only time I can beat an SV hunter is if I sit and do nothing but beat on a boss, but they can switch targets and keep up, that's not right either.

Combat DPS barely changed. It was a 2-2.5% nerf. If you were pulling 65-6800, you would have still pulled less than 7k last week, and he still would have been beating you.

So then we can say the same about rogues, right? They were out dpsing everyone in lower level gear because they were skilled.
These were the big skeleton that are released from the traps we were killing. I would KS, Adrenaline rush, SnD and Blade flurry, and couldn't keep up with him. There is no skill in pushing CDs as combat on single target, maybe a little timing, but skill? I should have been able to over take him with all my CDs, but couldn't for some reason.

Actually the less "tight" someone's rotation is... the nerf technically should have even less of an effect on their DPS.

We were outdpsing everyone at every gear level. Low and high (look above for the chart, it's pretty convincing).

Check your gear / rotation / spec. With the gear you have, you should be pushing minimum 9k with your fingers in your nose, even with the nerf (On 25s, at least). I was at 9,3k on Rotface yesterday without our Combat Rogue for the 4% increase.

Actually the less "tight" someone's rotation is... the nerf technically should have even less of an effect on their DPS.Eh, not necessarily so for Combat. For Mut, I agree, since HfB is a direct scale factor for the damage you're already doing, but the poison nerf to Combat is mostly felt via autoattacks, so assuming you kept SnD up, but otherwise played like a tard, you'd see a bigger impact from the change than someone who was maximizing the rest of their output.
The difference is going to be marginal regardless though.

And maybe you will learn that opinions are like elbows and everyone has them. Now, as to being OP, well, we out DPS everyone else, so what? That is about all we bring to a raid and so we SHOULD do it better than anyone. After all, we are supposed to be cold blooded killers. We make up for it in dying at nearly any substantial raid hit, and not bringing the mass utility to a raid. Doing more of what we should be doing more of than other people does not make us OP. In the over all game balance of things, I can assure you, it would take 6+ months for the changes to really convince people to level a rogue and by then, Cata should be out and all of this is a moot point anyway.
