I'm not saying they won't be a darker faction to the Alliance, but they won't hit the Forsaken level.
somehow I just don't picture them as the marshmellow type of toons that belives in chivalry honor justice freedom and light.
rather they strike me as a race that belives in slaugther, killing, fighting, feeding, ect ect ect.
besides they even have their own apothecary faction (is not really called apothecary but they are chemists nonetheless)
still, it's too early to draw conclutions about them, is important to wait and see more lore to draw a reasonable line on their behaviour.
but mark my words, don't expect them to be marshmellow type of toons that belives in chivalry honor justice freedom and light.
expect them to be the black-sheep of the alliance, just as forsaken are the black-sheep of the horde.

just FYI; there are other ways to make general mayhem and destruction, such as spreading their curse..... :P we do know it's contagious, as this thing starts as an epidemic on gilneas, wiht plp getting placed under quarentine.
who's to say they don't secretly spread their curse? maybe not by genn himself as he wants the curse to be cured but maybe he has an evil majordomo/sidekick that belives that rather than cure themselves they should embrace their condition and try to spread the curse to the rest of azeroth?
somehow the sick wolves on elwynn makes me believe in a new plage/toxin/curse that starts with all canine species and has worgen as central point in there.

Perhaps the Worgen are supposed to be the Forsaken of the Alliance. Just by looking at the Alliance, the only overly evil race appear to be gnomes (they embrace any type of magic, be it Fel or otherwise), and even then, they aren't really evil. I think blizzard is trying to pull the Alliance from being all about the light (everyone in the alliance will be able to be priests in cata), to having a more corrupt faction, aka the worgen.

Their not corrupt though; if there was something demonic about the new Worgen, the Night Elves would have nothing to do with them. I agree that you'll see Graymane pushing for his more violent and vicious ideas; his original stance on the orcs and the other races for one thing, but he won't turn on the Alliance like a group of Forsaken did. Even if there is something darker about the Curse, they have ways to keep it under control after all.

The only race/class combination I could find myself relating to within the Horde was the Undead Priest.
Yes, I play a Forsaken - lol
Lol... the irony...
I would have guessed a Tauren, honestly. Maybe a Blood Elf.

I've heard the Greymane worgen compared to Wolverine. Based on that, I'm guessing they'll be
violent, rowdy, and abrasive, but basically good at heart
.

Because Wolverine wasn't in enough Marvel books, he had to start playing WoW.
This is his main.

Honestly i dont picture the alliance letting in a race it can't trust very well. if the worgen are to be accepted into the alliance, then they must have a pretty good reason to be trusted. Humans (and other alliance races) typically are skeptical of the claims of creatures who look like monsters... if the alliance has a good reason to trust the worgen, (in which case they do if the worgen are accepted in the alliance) then that reason is good enough for it to not make any sense for the worgen to suddenly stoop to the forsaken's standards.
That's what I've been thinking. Also, welcome back Champ.

Just strikes me as convenience more then anything else. The fact that the forsaken are attacking them is pretty much the only reason they need to enter back into the alliance, the enemy of my enemy so to speak.
I'm gonna bet the worgen are going to be the alliance version of the forsaken, meaning they do something that does greatly against the spotless alliances code of conduct, same as forsaken went against the hordes code of honor. At that point, it will be enough for the horde to accuse the alliance the same as they did the horde.

Yeah. Though I was at first under the impression that those night elves were mages, you know, the new sub faction entering back into it.. whats it called...
But druids would explan there teachings to worgen.. like... becoming druids in under a week of meeting them O.o

I'm not sure if it is convenience so much as they were former members of the Alliance. I mean, Dalaran wizards were attacked by Forsaken, yet what happens? Forsaken becomes exalted with Kirin Tor.
