Has the true Horde's spirit been dominated by belfs/undead?

Ok, to start I do myself have a blood elf myself who I play, paly, who I probably intend to race change in cataclysm to tauren, but I have then played a blood elf for a time then.
When I was stood in orgrimmar today on my orc shaman getting things from the post box, I looked around a minute, and it came to my attention that everywhere I looked, in my own race city, all I could see at that moment were undead, and blood elf players. I saw one tauren coming out of the bank and logging off, and an orc lowbie asking for gold, but everywhere, it was just blood elves and undead.
Now. well I've no problem with someone wanting to play any of these races, it does make me feel crushed inside when I've done my 5th random dungeon where I'm the only orc, and all the rest are undead or blood elves.
It just seems that the vast majority of players seem to roll either the hordes token pretty boy or goth boy race and ignore the proper horde races, the ones that actully made the horde.
I've never felt less like playing a blood elf of the last few months, and I've never rolled an undead. I just can't help but think the horde is split into 2 factions or True horde players, Troll, Orc and Tauren, and the off faction of Undead and Blood Elves.
Call this a whine thread if you want, but I'm just expressing my concern over what the horde means to me

Welcome to the Alliance headache, where everyone is either a gnome, a human or a night elf, while my poor Draenei stands alone.

I play a Forsaken, I resent this post.
And while the majority of players - something I find highly inaccurate - may be Forsaken and Blood Elves, I feel that the Spirit of the Horde will always be made up of Orcs, Trolls, Goblins - and I guess Tauren.

Yeah thats something I tend to notice, on the alliance side there majority roll night elf or human first.

Resent it if you want, but if so then you know I've some truth to what I'm saying then.
I'm just someone who will never regard the forsaken as having the qualities the other horde races have, such as honor and kinship with other races.

Some of them of course feel that way, but the mass majority are so depressed on their 'deaths' and jealous of the Living, they just don't care anymore... and their Leader doesn't help lol.

I wish I could say what I really wanted to say to this post, but I'll leave it at "This is why you're a prime target for trolls."
Trolling comes hand in hand when someone expresses there thoughts on a forum. Enough of everyone here has gotten there fair share of trolling from others, so I'm not the exception.

Just because I chose to roll a forsaken 4 years ago when I started playing doesn't mean I'm not a member of the 'True Horde' as you say it.
I do see a lot of blood elves though, and generally when I'm in a random dungeon it's me and 4 elves.
According to Warcraft Census (although I have absolutely no clue how accurate their information is) Horde side on my realm is 41% blood elves, and they count for 21% of all characters on the realm.

I find that, on my server, there are way too many blood elves. In random dungeon groups, like Gumballs, it's usually me and 4 blood elves. And at least two of them are DKs.
I don't like blood elves really - I just think that lore-wise they are too arrogant for my taste - but the overpopulation really irks me. That's why I wouldn't make my paladin Horde.

Apparently this is the break up of the Horde side of my realm (once again, not sure how accurate, and this is only level 80s).
Blood Elves: 1 601 (40%)
Tauren: 761 (19%)
Orcs: 625 (16%)
Undead: 600 (15%)
Trolls: 377 (10%)
If those numbers are correct, than Winterhoof has at least 900 more level 80 blood elves than any other race..

Tauren paladins will be fun. I miss playing Horde sometimes on my paladin...

My server tends to be dominated by Blood Elves, but that's mostly because my server was made just before TBC and so everyone rolled the pretty new race.
I confess that I play a Blood Elf as my main, but that's because I'm a priest, and right now my only options would be Undead or Troll (and I don't want a Forsaken as my main, but I'm not into the Voodoo either). After Cata, I've thought about race-changing to Tauren, (not gonna have a Goblin as my main, either), but really, I rather like my Blood Elf, and I love that Arcane Torrent racial. Ultimately, I think it'd be silly to pay 20 dollars just because of Blood Elf stigma, especially when I don't much fancy the alternatives as a priest. Besides, that's exactly where Blood Elves belong. The most natural class choices for a Blood Elf are Priest, Mage, Blood Knight, and Warlock, and I don't mind seeing them in the Horde. It's the dominance of Hunter, Rogues, and *shudder* Warriors that bugs me.
I mean, I can accept a Blood Elf Warrior. He's trained to be the best, fought for his homeland for hundreds of years... Yeah, I can dig it. But not when half the Warriors on the Horde are Belfs. Hopefully that won't get that bad.
I play three orcs, and I feel that I'm an orc at heart (not
really
of course. I'm not an otherkin. But yeah, I don't think of myself as a Blood Elf in the Horde. I care most about the orcs.)
So ultimately, in-game, it does bug me to see so many Blood Elves (I don't have the Forsaken problem on my server), but I think, Lore-wise, the Horde is beautiful in it's variety. I think it's rather inspiring to imagine an orc running after the Scourge or a black drake while a Blood Mage stands behind and provides cover fire.

My rogue is an orc.
Also, I've noticed something - barely anyone rolls female Orcs.
Well theres some on my server, infact one of my best friends got board of his blood elf priest and rolled a female orc hunter, which she loves.
I think there more orc females though then dwarf ones.
