Sucks that Alcatraz got cancelled....oh well, maybe they'll do a mini-movie or something to finish it off. Semi-good that Touch has been renewed, but my interest in it has been flagging a little.
Yeah, I watched the first few episodes online. But since my guild raided on Thursday night I wouldn't watch it and then forget to re-watch. After a certain point I just lost interest in it.
But I have watched Common Law and that is interesting imo. Looking forward to the summer's new seasons, such as Franklin & Bash and Royal Pains.

The Big Bang Theory, no question!
Touched should be on the Fox website by now.
And yeah, can't wait for the continuation of the Avatar universe with the new Avatar(female this time around) and Aang and Kitara's son(and to find out who's still alive at this point); gotta say, the whole rebellion angle is gonna make interesting.
It's called Touch, is it not? Touched? Unless it's called something different elsewhere.
The mouthbreathing retards in charge of programming at FOX have only gone and
cancelled Terra Nova
. Real shame, that show had serious potential.
It didn't have enough viewers for the cost. It's pilot was more expensive than an average movie...
It had potential but no way was the cost worth it.
It's old, it's ancient, but it's still relevant.
So, here we are on the cusp of the mid-season, and so far my new favorite show is Alcatraz; I love it. Has an excellent cast, a great idea for the premise, and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
On March 21st, 1963, Alcatraz officially closed. All the prisoners were transferred off the island. Only that's not what happened. Not at all.So forty years later, the prisoners who vanished which cause the closing of Alcatraz are starting to return from wherever they disappeared to. So far, it's been a small time hood, a sniper killer and tonight's is a child killer who have come back....just 253 more to go. I really hope it survives for more then a season, or if it does get canceled, it will end with a good finale.
Alcatraz was cancelled recently. :\

Several shows have ended their season for the summer shows to start. House M.D. has gone off the air and the other show I was watching, Supernatural, has finished its 7th season.
I haven't seen many episodes from House, but I did watch the last season. I liked it, thought it was interesting. For the fall, it seems Fox is going to replace it with
The Mob Doctor
. The preview for it looks interesting. But won't know much until the pilot airs.
Seems the next season of SPN will be better than the last 2 because of an old writer coming back. It'll also be moved to Wednesday nights now instead of Fridays. With the move to Wednesday they're adding in a new show,
Arrow
.
The first thing I thought when I saw that was the Green Arrow.
I guess it will be based on the GA after all. Doesn't surprise me much.
Here
is an actual description and another trailer.

Hopefully next season of SPN will be better, Season 7 was the worst by far, and Season 6 was ok at best. Than again I really can't imagine how they are going to make a new interesting story, as trumping S5 will be very hard to do.
And thanks for the heads-up on Arrow, I was a Smallville fan and I am a superhero fan so that looks like an interesting watch, especially since it's about a not so well known superhero (for me at least).

Well an
old writer
is
coming back
, so it may be just as good. The only hints we have as to what it will be about was in one of the last episodes where the Alpha Vamp says "See you next season". So it may have to do with more monster hunting, which I enjoy. Sam will also have to get Dean out of Purgatory as well. But a side from those 2 things there isn't much else that can be learned.
And Arrow does look interesting. I missed watching Smallville when it first came out due to a busy schedule in school, but I'm not watching it all again as I have nothing better to do. I'm at the start of season 4 now.

And last night was the finale of Eureka..../sigh Oh well, at least Alphas are back and Warehouse 13 got a renewal for this year, so since they are both part of the same universe, we'll hopefully see more Eureka characters showing up(I know we probably won't but I can dream damn it!).

Supernatural panel at Comic-con.
Seems this season will have Sam in a relationship while Dean was in Purgatory. They'll also talk about what happened to Dean while he was in Purgatory. Also seems they will be looking for something, as opposed to them being on the defensive like the last couple of seasons.

Was a sad day indeed :(
In other news, I'm 99% sure the season 7 premiere of Doctor Who will be on August 25th. It hasn't been officially announced, but Matt Smith said at Comic-Con it'll
air in August
and there are advanced screenings at BFI Southbank August 14th as well as the Edinburgh International Television Festival, between August 23rd and August 25th, and the 25th is the last Saturday of the month (Doctor Who is always Saturday). So yeah, you heard it here first, folks.
As for confirmed shows, Game of Thrones has been announced to return on March 31st 2013. Huuuuuge wait, bummer.
I keep a broadcast schedule of shows I watch online
here
if anyone would find such a resource useful.
I have a few close friends that love Doctor Who, I tried to watch the first couple episodes of the series and didn't much care for it. Does it get better or is there a particular season it would be worth skipping to?

Honestly, if you didn't like the first few episodes
there is something wrong with you
you probably won't enjoy the series that much. Of course, I recommend David Tennant's three seasons because I think he's the best Doctor after the series was revived, but I don't know - keep watching is my advice, the series is great.
Edit: Anything specific you don't like about it, or just the series in general?
